Is It Possible to Get Cost (Converted Currency) Metrics through API

2022-12-02 Thread Hanish Kathpal
Hi Team,

I have multiple currencies accounts and need to get cost data for all the
campaigns in single manager account currency. As Google Ads panel shows
Cost (Converted Currency) metrics for the same, is it possible through API
too?

If it is not then can you please share process that is being used for Cost
(Currency Converted) metrics within Google Ads Panel?

Thanks!

Can't Access API Center; Update API version

2022-12-02 Thread Rachel Bischel
First off, I have been trying to access the API center for the last two
days but keep getting this error:
I refresh the page but it does nothing.

Secondly, I have Python code that uses the client library for Google Ads
API. It has stopped working because I get an error stating that v9 is
deprecated. No where in my code have I stated the version to use (I didn't
set up the API in Google Ads, that was a previous developer). I'm figuring
in the API center I need to change the endpoint from v9 to updated version.
Is that correct?

Re: Updating existing RSA headlines/descriptions

2022-12-02 Thread Stepanian
Just for everyone else's benefit, to update the headlines/descriptions for
an existing responsive text ad, you're supposed to use the AdService and
the AdOperation and NOT the AdGroupAdService and the AdGroupAdOperation. My
initial assumption (and the answer from the Google Ads API Team above) was
incorrect.

Google Ads Invalid Scope Name

2022-12-02 Thread evensisftw
Hi,

I have my refresh token and everything working okay in that department.
However, when I attempt to make an API call (the ad's scope has been added
in the google cloud area), it complains of:

"You are receiving this error either because your input OAuth2 scope name
is invalid or it refers to a newer scope that is outside the domain of this
legacy API.

This API was built at a time when the scope name format was not yet
standardized. This is no longer the case and all valid scope names (both
old and new) are catalogued at
https://developers.google.com/identity/protocols/oauth2/scopes. Use that
webpage to lookup (manually) the scope name associated with the API you are
trying to call and use it to craft your OAuth2 request."

This happens when attempting to create a conversion action via "
\Google\Ads\GoogleAds\V12\Services\MutateConversionActions".

I have passed the auth scope of: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/adwords.
But seemingly this must be incorrect. This API service has been enabled in
the google api sarea.

Has anyone come across this before?

Many thanks.

RE: How to link Client Ad Account with One Central(Business) Ad Account

2022-12-02 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi Anurag,

Thank you for reaching out to our API support team.

By "one central ad account" could you be referring to a top level MCC / manager
account? If yes, you can refer to this guide on how to link client accounts to
MCC / manager accounts.

For campaign management in your Google Ads client accounts, including creating
its ad groups, you may start by referring to this guide. As for audience
management, you may refer here and also to the customer match guide.

I hope this helps.

missing information in request

2022-12-02 Thread Jip Veerbeek
Hello team,

I am requesting data from my account, this is my request:

curl --location --request POST '
https://googleads.googleapis.com/v12/customers/private/googleAds:search

' \
--header 'Content-Type: application/json' \
--header 'developer-token: private' \
--header 'login-customer-id: private' \

"query": "SELECT metrics.conversions, metrics.conversions_value,
metrics.cost_micros, ad_group.effective_target_roas, ad_group.id FROM
ad_group WHERE segments.date DURING LAST_30_DAYS"
}'

I am getting the right response but there is missing some information. I
think it has to do with the page token. If I use it I still won't get what
I need and I will get a new nextPageToken until it stays the same. I think
some of the adgroups are still missing.

I hope someone can help me with this problem.

RE: GoogleAds Auction Insights Metrics API Access

Hi Mayank,

Thank you for reaching out to our API support team.

Auction insight metrics are currently labeled as "This metric is not publicly
available." (see example metrics.auction_insight_search_impression_share). Our
API support team also unfortunately does not have details how this can be
available for customers.

However, our team has already raised a feature request, subject for review, so
that those fields can be used. For now, you can follow our blog to receive

Auth issue

2022-12-02 Thread Dan Willoughby
Hi,

I am getting the below error response:

errors {

  error_code {

authorization_error: USER_PERMISSION_DENIED

  }

message: "User doesn\'t have permission to access customer. Note: If
you\'re accessing a client customer, the manager\'s customer id must be set
in the \'login-customer-id\' header. See
https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/docs/concepts/call-structure#cid;

}

request_id: "mQoaR4UejQk7Wn8kh3skMQ"

, 'mQoaR4UejQk7Wn8kh3skMQ')

This seems to be happening randomly, even though the error indicates it is
not random. I retry this manually on the server (same arguments passed) and
it returns as expected. But overnight we randomly get errors like the
above.

RE: google ads

2022-12-02 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi Chenai,

Thanks for reaching out to the Google Ads API Forum.

I understand that you are looking to obtain the information of visitors who
entered your website through advertisements, such as: email address, country,
contact information, etc.,

However, you may let us know if this feature is already available in the Google
ads UI. I asked this because Google Ads API mirrors the Google Ads UI/Product,
and if this is available then you may privately provide us with the Ads UI
screenshot, so that we can provide specific recommendations.

Also, our team will not be able to comment outside of Google Ads API. For
Google Analytics, you may reach out to the community via this link.

Regards,

Yasar

Re: Call Ad Final and Verification URL

2022-12-02 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi Julius,

I work with Nirmita. Thanks for getting back to us.

Kindly note that the field phone_number_verification_url is not mandatory while
creating Call Ad using the CallAdInfo in the Google Ads API. When you enter
your verification URL, which can be the landing page URL for your business,
that's only to verify your ad and phone number. It will not be directly
displayed on your ad. To create ads that allow both clicks to call and clicks
to your website, you can provide a Final URL which will add a secondary link on
your Call Ad that will take users to the landing page you specify. For more
information on the Call ad requirements, you may refer to this product support
article. However, for its serving criteria, you may reach out to the Google Ads
Product support team, via this link.

Re: How to get keyword status (eligible, eligible limited, Not Eligible, Paused, Removed) from the Google Ads API?

2022-12-02 Thread ariful Islam
Thank you for your replay.

I have tried your suggestion. the problem is getting every status are ok
 like ( campaign.status= ENABLED, campaign.serving_status=SERVING,
ad_group.status= ENABLED) but keyword status is 'Not Eligible' due to Low
search volume.

Now I need to know the reason of the status to identify the status 'not
eligible',eligible limited'. Status reason like Low search volume ,Rarely
shown (low Quality Score).

Please help me to get status reason in keyword_view query .

Thank you

How to link Client Ad Account with One Central(Business) Ad Account

2022-12-02 Thread 'Anurag Sinha' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi Team,
We are developing a SaaS project using which we want to centrally manage
client ad accounts using one central ad account(which will belong to our
Organization). A few areas of management we are talking about are, Creating
Audiences, and pushing customers to the Audience, Creating Adgroups and
Campaigns programmatically on the Client's Ad Account from our Central Ad
Account.
Can you please share the document links for the use case or some idea on
how to achieve such use cases?

The results of KeywordPlanHistoricalMetrics's avg_monthly_searches are different

2022-12-02 Thread 冨田英祐(pokotyamu えーちゃん)
Hi,

I use KeywordPlanHistoricalMetrics API.

This API return avg_monthly_searches. It's "Approximate number of monthly
searches on this query averaged for the past 12 months".
Does this 12 month value ever change with GCP account or customer_id or
some other factor?
I believe that the value of the number of searches remains the same, am I
wrong?

Please let me know.

Eisuke Tomita

GoogleAds Auction Insights Metrics API Access

2022-12-02 Thread 'Mayank Mangal' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi,

I noticed that there is no publicly available Auction Insights API that we
can use. I checked several threads/posts regarding this, but couldn't find
a solution to it.

However, is there any way by which my developer token can get the access to
the same? I can provide all the details related to our use case if
required. Please define the process for requesting access to the Auction
Insights metrics. How can an organization apply for it?

Thanks,
Mayank
