Payment flow in Google Ads API

2023-03-06 Thread Shakhboz Sidikov
Dear all,

my question is maybe a bit high level question to better understand the
opportunities Google Ads API has to offer. We are building SAAS tool that
helps advertisers manage their Google Ads accounts and campaigns from our
tool. At the moment, we want all our clients to create new google ads
account under our agency MCC.

If a client after registering in our platform, creates a new google ads
account under our agency MCC, could we implement a flow where our client
adds their credit card details directly to google ads and pay any ad cost
associated with their account?

We want our clients to be able to create new google ads account inside our
platform and do not go to the new window and open Google Ads flow to add
their credit card, create a new campaign etc.

Thanks,
Shakhboz

RE: Error in uploadCallConversions with conversionAction

2023-03-06 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi,

Thank you for raising this concern to the Google Ads API support team.

Regarding your concern, it appears that you have encountered an error while
uploading call conversions. Please note that conversion_action field is the
resource name of the conversion action associated with this conversion. Note
that the resource name consists of a customer id and a conversion action id. As
per this guide, you can see that the resource_name's format is :
customers/{customer_id}/conversionActions/{conversion_action_id}. I would
recommend referring to our Conversion Management and Upload Call Conversions
guides for more details.

Let un know if you have further questions.

Regards,

Re: Error in uploadCallConversions with conversionAction

2023-03-06 Thread Alexis S
Related to the conversion id API call, we want to confirm that the url
customers/{customer_id}/conversionActions/{ConversionType.conversion_type_id},
need to be populated with this values

{
"results": [
{
"conversionAction": {
"resourceName": "customers/CUSTOM_ID/conversionActions/CONVERSION_ID",
"type": "UPLOAD_CALLS",
"id": "CONVERSION_ID",
"name": "CONVERSION_NAME"
}
}
],
"fieldMask":
"conversionAction.name,conversionAction.id,conversionAction.type"
}

Where for ConversionType we use the value of type, in this case,
UPLOAD_CALLS and for conversion_type_id, the value of id: CONVERSION_ID

Thanks!

Maximum account limits for manager account

2023-03-06 Thread Alexey Zhytkov
Hi,
according to policy, I have a limit of 50 accounts to manage by my manager
acc. under 10K USD / month spent.

Am I able to create for my company more than just one manager account and
where is the limit?
For example, can I manage 100 independent, not subordinated to others,
managers' accounts?

FYI. I am running a customer-based software and I am not sure about their
spending for now.

Error in uploadCallConversions with conversionAction

Good afternoon We are querying the Google Ads API and calling the

following error: { "partialFailureError": { "code": 3, "message": "Resource

Good afternoon

We are querying the Google Ads API and calling the uploadCallConversions

Re: campaign budget fields from change event service

2023-03-06 Thread julian selser
Hello there,

I noticed that not only I cannot get the budget, I dont get a change row
for the campaign itself if I change its budget.

Can you confirm this is on purpose? This means I cannot tell if a campaign
budget changed at all, even looking at the campaign itself.

Thanks,
Julian

RE: Planning Service - get three month change and YoY change

2023-03-06 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi Cristina,

Thanks for reaching out to the Google Ads API Forum. I hope you are doing well
today.

It appears that this is specific to Keyword Planning. That said, you may check
our Keyword Planning guide to have full information about this. Moving forward
to your concern about “Are the three month change and YoY change calculated
from the monthly search values? Is there a way to get these values from the
API?”, can you provide a UI screenshot (uncropped) of the field of the data
that you are retrieving? I asked this because the Google Ads API mirrors the
Google Ads UI. Meaning, the Google Ads API retrieves what the UI is showing.

Have a great day.

Google Ads API Team

RE: Difference between ad_group_ad_asset_view and ad_group_asset

2023-03-06 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi Yijie,

Thanks for reaching out to the Google Ads API Team. I hope you are doing well
today.

The ad_group_ad_asset_view is a link between an AdGroupAd and an Asset.
Currently support AdGroupAdAssetView for AppAds and Responsive Search Ads. This
is for retrieving asset information and this is a selectable report. For the
ad_group_asset, a link between an ad group and an asset. The said fields are
attributed to resources for assets and customers. We would like to inform you
that the ad_group_asset is used to get the metrics accumulated at the
association of the ad group and asset-based extensions. The possible reason why
is enriched with more metrics. To validate your query you may use our Google
Ads Query Validator.

To better check the data that you want to retrieve using Google Ads API, you
may provide us the complete UI screenshot without cropping part. For security
purposes, you can provide it via the Reply privately to author option. If this
option is not available, then send it instead on this email address
googleadsapi-supp...@google.com.

RE: Refresh error exception while making api call with Google ads account

2023-03-06 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hello Anatoliy,

Hope you're safe and doing fine. I'm from the Google Ads API team and I'll be
assisting you with this.

With regard to the invalid_grant error that you've encountered, this may imply
that the access or refresh token being passed in your request is incorrect or
invalid. Please note that the email address used to generate those credentials
should have the appropriate access to the production account that you're trying
to make an API request.

I suggest that you check on your end if the publishing status of your Google
project is Testing. If yes, then please change the publishing status to In
production and try again. You may refer here for more information. On the other
hand, if the publishing status is already correct, kindly regenerate your OAuth
credentials and try again. Please see below guides to learn more on generating
the OAuth credentials and setting up the client libraries.

Configure a Google API Console Project for the Google Ads API

If the issue persists, please share with us the details below via Reply

RE: Get Audience Segment Basic Performance Report Using Google Ads API

2023-03-06 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi Ahmad,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

For our team to further investigate this, could you please provide the
following information below?:

Complete API logs (request and response with request-id ) generated on your end
Entire UI screenshot without cropping where you can see the data you want to
retrieve in the API

You may then send the requested information via the Reply privately to author
option. If this option is not available, you may send the details directly to
our googleadsapi-supp...@google.com alias instead.

On the other hand, if you are using ad_group_audience_view or
campaign_audience_view reports, then I could confirm that you may not select
the metrics fields as these fields are not compatible with user_list.name.
However, there's already a feature request to have selectable fields in the
ad_group_audience_view report that will get the fields into the audience
segment UI. With this, I would suggest you follow our blog post for updates and
new releases.

Additionally, I would also recommend that you use Google Ads Query Builder and
Query Validator tools for constructing queries.

Best regards,

Google Ads API Team

Planning Service - get three month change and YoY change

2023-03-06 Thread 'Cristina Matei' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi,

We are looking at getting the three month change and YoY change available
in the Keyword Planner. I can see in the Java library for the Google Ads
API that these values are not available, only the monthly search values are.

Are the three month change and YoY change calculated from the monthly
search values? Is there a way to get these values from the API?

Thanks,
Cristina
