Hello, we are advertisers using the VAC MAPIT function. At present, we have
encountered a problem. When using the API to upload Appsflyer advertising
conversion data to Google Ads, the API refresh token is only valid for a
few days. As shown in the figure, can we solve the problem by change the
publishing status to production

Basic Level API Access Request Pending

2023-07-18 Thread Iris Financial
Hi Google,

I have been waiting for the basic API access approval since July 8. I also
submitted a ticket after doing research, but have yet to get a response.

Is there a way to get assistance with this?

Re: api error for destination not working. how to resolve?

2023-07-18 Thread Oskar Wallén

Hi

Thank you for your timely response.

As for the error at hand I wonder how we can trigger a scan of the website
through the API.
As you can the timestamp suggests that website was scanned "2022-08-06
16:09:58". This particular policy violation can't be resolved
automatically.
This is a long time ago and the website is working?

Yes we know we are using v12 and will be upgrading well before sunset as
suggested in the link you provided.
Kind regards

How to learn Google Ads API starting from Google Ads Scripts

2023-07-18 Thread Alberto Esteves Correia
Hello,

I want to learn how to use the new functionality of Google Ads scripts
AdsApp.mutate.

https://developers.google.com/google-ads/scripts/docs/features/mutate?hl=en

However, to know how to use it, it seems that is necessary to have
knowledge about the use of the Google Ads API, and I have no experience
there.

Starting from an intermediate level knowledge of JavaScript and SQL, what
resources do you recommend for me to learn?

Trying to learn it solely by reading the official documentation is tricky.

Thanks in advance!

Re: Image and Location Migration in Google Ads API

2023-07-18 Thread Kevin
Oh never mind - it looks like the SKU for if we have the place_id may be
free:
https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/places/web-service/usage-and-billing#find-place-id-only
And the "Find Place" request does seem to have the address information:
https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/places/web-service/search-find-place#find-place-responses
It is a bit strange that we'd have to call a different service at all and I
worry about the price changing in the future.

Thanks!

I did see the place_id before, but it looks like the Places API is a paid
service:
https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/places/web-service/usage-and-billing

Are we expected to pay for this data now?

Re: google ads api php - how to disable an option "automatically created assets" when creating campaign

2023-07-18 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi Evaldas,

Thank you for your clarification and the screenshot you have provided.

Upon checking you may change the Final URL setting via API by changing the
url_expansion_opt_out field of the campaign. Please refer to this documentation
for more
information(https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/reference/rpc/v14/Campaign#url_expansion_opt_out).
You may also refer to the code example found in this documentation for
Creating a campaign(Performance Max) -
https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/docs/performance-max/create-campaign#php.
Here you will find the part of the code where you can set
“url_expansion_opt_out” during the creation.

Please also note that changing the TEXT ASSETS option in the “Automatically
created assets” is currently not available in the Google Ads API. Allow me to
raise a feature request for this to become available in the API. Kindly note
that this is a subject for review and what we can do is to advise you to keep
an eye on our blog post for the updates and releases.

I hope this information is helpful. Let me know if you have any questions.

RE: fetching images from free stock images

2023-07-18 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi,

Thank you for raising this concern to the Google Ads API support team.

Regarding your concern, it appears that this is about fetching/using the free
stock images data via the Google Ads API. However, I am afraid that this is not
yet supported in the Google Ads API. That being said, I have raised a feature
request for its availability. Note that this is subject for review and since we
cannot provide a definite timeline with regard to its release, we would instead
recommend you keep an eye on our Blog

Still waiting for Basic Level API access approval

2023-07-18 Thread Sami Eid
Hello,

I have been waiting for the basic API access approval for more than two
weeks. I have applied for the basic API access twice.

According to the recommended answer here
(https://support.google.com/google-ads/thread/212986157?hl=en) I also
submitted this form twice:

*> Use this form to request the API access:-

https://support.google.com/adspolicy/contact/contact_ads_api

*

But I have never received a response. We tried to connect by phone, but it
was said that "there is no phone support for this account at this time" and
got disconnected.

I'm wondering if there are any other ways to get the response from the
Google Ads API team, and how I can increase the approval process.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Sami Eid

2023-07-18 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hello,

Thank you for getting back to us.

It seems you were unable to receive our recent response. Allow me to reiterate.

“With regards to your concern, it seems that you did not attach the complete
logs on your last response. Please note that in Google Ads API perspective we
need the complete logs to be able to further investigate. With that being said,
can you provide the complete request and response logs with request ID
generated as shown in the respective?

Kindly also note that Google Ads API mirrors the Google Ads UI. Meaning by
using the Google Ads API, you can get and manage the data that you are seeing
in the UI. With that being said, can you provide us with the full (not cropped)
and non-redacted screenshot of the Google Ads UI data showing these keywords?
This is for us to be able to replicate the data on our side and suggest you
proper guidance.”

you are experiencing this error? If you are encountering API errors on your

search_term_view - other search terms

2023-07-18 Thread Yosef Schwartz
Hi!

When I tried to validate the data, I noticed a difference between my
tracking system to GoogleAds UI, I can explain the difference by the
section "other search term".

Can I get details about the "other_search_terms" shown at the report's
bottom?
Even a default row that includes all the impressions and clicks and so on.

I understood that it was grouped because of the privacy policy.

Thanks
