Yes, it's a bug that needs to be fixed urgently.

, API V12
will sunset in Sep.27, 2023. After this time, we cannot get the rule
details of CombinedRuleUserList with RuleOperator of AND. Could you
postpone the sunset time until the bug is fixed?

Re: how to fetch campaign budget and sub account balance under a manager account

2023-08-22 Thread Bipinkumar B Kaniampal
Use Case:
Account Manager -> Manager Account
Account User -> Sub Account
When an account user creates a campaign in a particular day we want to
fetch how much money was added to create a campaign and how much of that
money has been utilised by the campaign out of the money added to the
wallet

Please let us know how we can fetch the same, also if the campaign is
paused how is the unconsumed money managed? Are we able to fetch the same?

RE: segments date filter

2023-08-22 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi,

Thanks for reaching out to Google Ads API Forum.

With regards to your concern, you may refer to the Date Ranges documentation
for more information about the segments.date.

Furthermore, kindly note that a segment.date is one of the core date segments.
This means that these segments can be filtered in the WHERE clause without
appearing in the SELECT clause. If any of these segments are in the SELECT
clause, a finite date range composed of core date segments must be specified in
the WHERE clause (the date segments don't need to be the same ones specified in
the SELECT). You may also refer to the sample queries on this link
(https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/docs/reporting/segmentation#examples).

Additionally, kindly note that Google Ads API mirrors the Google Ads UI.
Meaning by using the Google Ads API, you can get and manage the data that you
are seeing in the UI. With that being said, you may provide us with the full
(not cropped) and non-redacted screenshot of the Google Ads UI data showing
this information you want to implement using the Google Ads API. This is for us
to be able to replicate the data on our side and suggest you proper guidance.

You may then send the requested information via the Reply privately to the
author option. If this option is not available, you may send the details
directly to our googleadsapi-supp...@google.com alias instead.

RE: google ads api: campaign criterion contains campaign.id that does not exist

2023-08-22 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to Google Ads API Forum.

I understand that you have acquired campaign id associated with the criteria
but it appears to be non-existent when querying via API and verifying in the
interface. With this, could you provide us with the complete API logs (request
and response with request-id and request header) generated on your end for
retrieving this via API? This is so we could further check on our end and
provide more appropriate guidance regarding this issue.

If you haven't enabled the logging yet, logging can be enabled by navigating to
the Client libraries > Your client library (ex. Java) > Logging documentation,
which you can access from this link
(https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/docs/client-libs?hl=en). For REST
interface requests, you can enable logging via the curl command by using the -i
flag.

You may then send the requested information privately via the Reply to author
option. If this option is not available, you may send the details directly to
our googleadsapi-supp...@google.com alias instead.

Re: google ads api access roles requires

2023-08-22 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi Peos,

Thank you for returning to our team.

The AuthorizationError.ACTION_NOT_PERMITTED error occurs when the user does not
have permission to perform this action (e.g., ADD, UPDATE, REMOVE) on the
resource or call a method. You encountered said error because you are using the
credentials with adequate access level. That said, please make sure that the
user email that is used for the authentication indeed has a correct access
level to the account specified in your request. You may refer to the steps
shown under the "How to edit access level" section of this guide to edit the
access level.

As an administrator, you can get the list of users with access to an account by
building a Google Ads Query Language statement to query all the
CustomerUserAccess entities associated with a customer ID. Here is a typical
query:

SELECT
customer_user_access.user_id,
customer_user_access.email_address,
customer_user_access.access_role,
customer_user_access.access_creation_date_time,
customer_user_access.inviter_user_email_address
FROM customer_user_access

Lastly, I noticed that you are using the v12 of the Google Ads API which was
already deprecated. To avoid issues on your end, I would highly suggest
upgrading to the newest version.

I would like to ask if there is an API interface to check the
asset_group.id, asset_group.name, product_item_id and metrics of PMax
campaigns at the same time.

RE: how to fetch campaign budget and sub account balance under a manager account

2023-08-22 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hello,

Welcome to Google Ads API Support team. Thank you for reaching out to us.

With regards to fetching campaign budgets, you may utilize the campaign_budget
(https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/fields/v14/campaign_budget) query
builder and build a query that would fit to your needs. On the other hand, with
regards to sub account balances, are you referring to invoice
(https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/docs/billing/invoice)? If not,
kindly elaborate your use case here and share to us the entire screenshot
(uncropped) on what you want to retrieve in Google Ads UI so we can guide you
accordingly.

This message is in relation to case "ref:_00D1U1174p._5004Q2o6zNS:ref"

Thanks,

Google Ads API Team

Google Ads API metrics imported from Google Analytics broken

2023-08-22 Thread 'Tiana S.' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi there,

We're noticing the metrics available through the Google Ads API that
represent Google Analytics data stopped showing data starting July this
year. There's still data if you query historically, but from July on all
metrics show 0.

As this corresponds with the timeline of Universal Analytics deprecation,
it seems the metrics are not setup to work with GA4 and only return data
for Universal Analytics...

Is this assumption correct? And if so, how can we get the GA4 values for
these metrics out of the API to keep everything working as it used to?

Affected metrics for reference:
- Average time on site

- Bounce rate

- Percent new visitors

If needed, I can of course provide more information privately.

Thanks in advance,

Tiana

How to know when a campaign status is changed.

2023-08-22 Thread Muhammad Murtza
Hello google ads team,
Is there a way to know whenever a google campaign status is changed via
some callback or webhook url? Because else will have to periodically get
campaign and check its status.

Regards,
M Murtaza

Attach images on Smart Campaigns Ads from the API

2023-08-22 Thread Adrián Alfaro

Hi,

I have seen that I can edit Smart Campaigns I have already created to
attach images to them in the Google Ads Manager UI. However, I tried to do
it from the API and I couldn’t see any way to do it. Is it possible to do
it while creating the campaigns or by editing them? I am using the Java
library.

Thanks
