How to Check cost of ad campaign

2022-09-12 Thread Khushboo Agarwal
Hi There,
I'm using google ads api to fetch data of my campaigns and store it on my
database. I'd fetched multiple tables but none of those have 'Cost' column.
It do have average_cost but the numbers doesn't make sense. for example
Average_cost = 101857142.85714284
Cost_micros = 71300

Thanks in advance for the help

Performance Max API integration (Adwords) - Need Basic Access

2022-01-17 Thread 'Vibhuti Agarwal' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi Team,

One of our clients, Maruti Suzuki, is trying to create multiple campaigns
across the country for their dealers. For Perf Max API integration they
needed a production account to test the API, the only way they discovered
was to make a prod account by submitting a form with all the relevant
details to Google.

They had submitted the form and raised this request on 27th but still there
is no revert from Google's end. The team has also escalated using this
 form but in vain.

Currently the agency only has "Test Account Access" with which they cannot
access the information from real accounts on Google Ads. To access the
information of the real accounts in the Google Ads, it seems they need
"Basic Access" and hence need help from the team on the same.

Request your help with PoC to understand the requirement and timelines.

Regards,
Vibhuti

I am getting Ad Error INVALID_AD_TYPE exception while trying to update shopping and expanded dynamic search ad.

2020-05-30 Thread Ankit Agarwal
I am getting an exception: AdError.INVALID_AD_TYPE @
operations[0].operand.id
full error:
[{:field_path=>"operations[0].operand.id",
:field_path_elements=>[{:field=>"operations", :index=>0},
{:field=>"operand"}, {:field=>"id"}], :trigger=>"",
:error_string=>"AdError.INVALID_AD_TYPE", :api_error_type=>"AdError",
:reason=>"INVALID_AD_TYPE", :xsi_type=>"AdError"}]

I am using 'AdService', creating both shopping as well as expanded dynamic
search ads.
below are my operations set for shopping and expanded dynamic search ad
respectively:

shopping:
[{:operator=>"SET", :operand=>{:id=>"438598577711",
:xsi_type=>"ProductAd"}}]

Expanded Dynamic Search Ad:
[{:operator=>"SET", :operand=>{:id=>"438551952907",
:xsi_type=>"ExpandedDynamicSearchAd", :description=>"too tired for this"}}]

My ad type seems to be valid according to me, my [operator -> 'ADD']
requests are working fine. This exception is only happening while updating
an ad.

Budget Order Service doc seems to be very confusing for me.
Let me rephrase my requirement here:

When a user connects with Google then at that moment I would like to know
whether his client account is eligible to deliver ads or not.

1.) Please provide me various conditions when client accounts may not be
eligible to deliver ads? (like billing method not setup)
2.) Suppose User created an ad but his billing was not setup then how I am
going to know that the ad is not being delivered since his billing is not
setup?

Re: conversion tracker installation verification

2019-06-24 Thread Ankit Agarwal
This solution is of no help to me. I am developing an application that let
the user create an ad over the google adwords platform. So *I need to
verify the tracker installation through some API* (I cannot check
individual user account for conversion tracker) so that I can allow my
users to use bid strategies that require conversion tracker.

Re: how to integrated adwords api?

2016-07-21 Thread Nikhil Agarwal
Hi Richest,

If you are using googleads-php-lib, please follow below steps to integrate
this API at xampp server:

1. Create a MCC(AdWords manager account) account using below URL:
https://www.google.com/adwords/manager-accounts/
2. After login into MCC account, visit
https://console.developers.google.com/ and create new project(App) and make
sure you select the 'installed application option'.
3. Note down app's Client ID and Client secret in auth.ini file.
4. Click on gearIcon > Account settings > AdWords API Centre and note down
Developer token and userAgent and put this info in auth.ini file.
5. Now create a test Manager account with a email address. Note that this
email address should not already be associated with an adwords account.
Please use below URL to create a test Manager account:
https://adwords.google.com/um/Welcome/Home?sf=mt#ta
6. Copy Customer ID from top right corner of test Manager account and use
it as 'clientCustomerId' in auth.ini file.
7. Now login into MCC account and run GetRefreshToken.php file in another
tab of same browser. It will display a URL. Copy this URL and login into
test Manager account in different browser and run copied URL. It will ask
to allow some permissions. Click 'Allow' button and it will display a code.
This code is not your refresh token.Its is only an access token. Copy this
code and paste it into GetRefreshToken.php file for the value of '$code'
variable.
8. Now refresh the page where we run GetRefreshToken.php. This time it will
give us refresh token. Copy this refresh token and use it inot auth.ini
file.
9. Run examples/AdWords/v201509/CampaignManagement/GetCampaignsByLabel.php,
it will list campaigns.

AdWords API test account

2015-03-11 Thread Vibhav Agarwal
Hello,I create MCC account with billing details and I applied for API
Access. Because my application is in "pending approval" status I decide to
create test account in order to continue developing my application. As it
is stated in official API documentation:* "All calls made with the AdWords
API require a developer token, but the token doesn't have to be approved
for calls made to Test Accounts; you can make requests against a Test
Account while the application is still pending", *I thought that I will
sucesfully make request to Google API AdWord and get respones with some
test, dummy data but I am getting an error when I am trying to authenticate:
QuotaCheckError.TERMS_AND_CONDITIONS_NOT_SIGNED
Pl tell me what should i do.

Can i get keywords from the adword api if i post url

2014-11-10 Thread Agarwal
I am very new to adword api.

I saw a feature on google adword that if I manually post landing page url
in keyword planner tool, It automatically suggest me keyword for that
particular web page.

Is this feature available on google adword api also. If i post landing page
url via api then if will get me list of keywords.

Thanks
Agarwal

Re: Possibility to generate the authorization token using some program.

2014-07-07 Thread Archit Agarwal
Hi Michael,

We are able to generate the refresh token using oauth playground and also
using the libraries. The link of the code that we are using is
https://github.com/googleads/googleads-java-lib/blob/master/examples/adwords_axis/src/main/java/adwords/axis/auth/GetRefreshToken.java

. Now we are facing difficulty in generating the access token as we didn't
find any library to generate the access token. The link to the adwords
library
is
https://github.com/googleads/googleads-java-lib/tree/master/examples/adwords_axis/src/main/java/adwords/axis

.

Please provide some directions to generate the access token
programmatically. As we need to get this done urgently. Your suggestions
are valuable to us.

Thanks,
Archit Agarwal

Possibility to generate the authorization token using some program.

2014-06-10 Thread Archit Agarwal
I want to integrate Adwords API with Klipfolio dashboards.
As the version of the Adwords API has changed and also the Authorization
parameter value has also changed therefore the old libraries are not
working correctly. So it is possible to generate the authorization token
using some program for the new version.

Please help, your suggestions are valuable to us.

Thanks,

How to retrieve disapproval reasons for an ad through the api

2013-11-20 Thread Gaurav Agarwal
Hi,

We are trying to retrieve disapproval reasons for an ad rejected which is
trademark disapproved and we are not getting anything through the api,
while we can see the reasons on UI.

We are seeing this behaviour for all the ads that are disapproved currently.

An example soap request-response is as follows. Kindly let us know what we
are missing and how to retrieve the disapproval reasons in such cases.

Thanks and Regards,
Gaurav

Getting Unmarshalling Error while using Google Adwords API.

2013-10-16 Thread archit agarwal

I'm making use of OAuth2 as authentication mechanism to get the response
about the "add budget campaign" using SOAP request. In the very beginning
to send a soap request using cUrl I am facing an error given below:

http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/";>

   soap:Client

 Unmarshalling Error: cvc-complex-type.2.4.a: Invalid content was
found starting with element 'biddingStrategy'. One of

"https://adwords.google.com/api/adwords/cm/v201309":forwardCompatibilityMap}'
is expected.

I am sending the following XML/SOAP request using cUrl which is the similar
code given on AdWords tutorial
(https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/guides/soap) .

  xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance";
  xsi:type="cm:KeywordMatchSetting">
  false

  I utilized the above XML/SOAP request in my cUrl request as:

curl --header "Content-Type: application/soap+xml"
 --data @test.xml
 https://adwords.google.com/api/adwords/cm/v201309/CampaignService

 I have searched over the internet regarding the same issue I'm facing but
no where I could find the solution. Please let me know if I'm doing
anything wrong or let me know if there is any other way out.

Can I fetch monthly CPC through the AdWords API

2010-11-29 Thread sumit agarwal
Hi,
I'm a starter and want to develop a client side application to fetch
data like Monthly Search Volume and CPC for the keyword I pass. I'm
using the API available for that (.Net). I've gone through the sample
examples provided in the API, but I got confused as why all the types
of the web service v201008 are used in the GetTrafficEstimate class
file?

Can I fetch monthly CPC through the AdWords API?

How to fetch search volume and CPC

2010-11-29 Thread sumit agarwal
Hi,
I'm new to AdWords. I have created a MCC account. I'm trying to
develop a client side application in .net that should fetch Search
Volume and CPC for a keyword using the AdWords API.
Since I'm new, can you help as to using which web-service of the API
would suffice my need?

Thanks
