Conversion Trackers API support for sameValue and differentValue

2020-04-03 Thread Chaitanya Kulkarni
Hi Team,

I am implementing the conversion tracking functionality through AdWords API
and am currently blocked on the following:

While creating a conversion, In AdWords UI, I can see options like "Use the
same value for each conversion", "Use different values for each conversion"
but in the Adwords API, I could only see the support for "
defaultRevenueCurrencyCode" and "defaultRevenueValue". I could not see API
support for adding it as "same value" or "different value". Can you please
let me know if this support is available? This is a blocker for me so I
would appreciate your quick turn around on this.

Thanks,
Chaitanya

Conversion Tracker - API Support for mobile website and phone number

2020-03-15 Thread Chaitanya Kulkarni
Hi Team,

I am currently using the AdWords API for conversion tracking. I am able to
create the conversion trackers for most of the configurations. I have the
following queries:

1. For call-only ads and phone numbers on websites, there is a form filed
in AdWords to enter the phone number along with email ids. I checked the
AdCallMetricsConversion
and WebsiteCallMetricsConversion, but could not find the API for the phone
number field. Could you please let me know if this field is supported by
the API?
2. Please let me know if Adwords API supports the mobile website source as
well?

Thanks,
Chaitanya

Re: Campaign not accepting some InMarket Category Ids

2019-10-11 Thread Chaitanya Kulkarni
Hi Team,
I already mentioned that while creating a campaign programmatically, I
observed that for *some* of the in-market categories, I get "Invalid User
Interest Id" for some categories. Search campaigns also, with most of the
in-market categories, I am able to create the search
campaign programmatically using CriterionUserInterest, but for only earlier
mentioned 50 odd categories the campaign is failing.

Could you please check and let me know if specific market categories
support only display campiagn?

AdGroupCriterionPage query not giving existing age ranges, income ranges and genders

2019-08-19 Thread Chaitanya Kulkarni

Hi Team,

while creating a new search campaign using adwords APIs, values for Age
Range, Income Range and Genders are added by default. *All the options are
enabled by default*. But when I try to get the existing values using the
PageQueries, these values are not getting reflected in the response. I
always get null values.

Following is the code.

String query = "SELECT Id, IncomeRangeType WHERE AdGroupId = " + adGroupId

+ " AND CriteriaType = 'INCOME_RANGE' AND CriterionUse != 'NEGATIVE' ORDER
BY Id";

AdGroupCriterionPage page = *null*;

*int* offset = 0;

*do* {

String pageQuery = query + String.*format*(" LIMIT %d, %d", offset,
*PAGE_SIZE*);

page = adGroupCriterionService.query(pageQuery);

*if* (page.getEntries() != *null*) {

*for* (AdGroupCriterion adGroupCriterionResult : page.getEntries()) {

IncomeRange incomeRange = (IncomeRange) adGroupCriterionResult
.getCriterion();

AdwordsIncomeRange adwordsIncomeRange = *new* AdwordsIncomeRange(incomeRange
);

adGroupIncomeRangeList.add(adwordsIncomeRange);

}

}

offset += *PAGE_SIZE*;

} *while* (offset < page.getTotalNumEntries());

*return* adGroupIncomeRangeList;

=

*But when I make some changes in the ages range, income range and gender
values through AdWords UI, the above query works perfectly fine and
provides me the enabled/active ages ranges.*

Could you please let me know if there is any specific query param I need to
get the default enabled/eligible age ranges, income ranges and genders?

Thanks,

Chaitanya

Re: Marital Status, Education and Homeownership Status adwords API support

2019-08-07 Thread Chaitanya Kulkarni
Hi Team,
Yes, I need to add demographics targeting to campaigns/ad groups. I checked
the sample code. I could find API for Parent object to set the parental
status. But I could not find similar API/object for marital status, Education
and Homeownership Status. Please let me know if support for these targeting
types is available in Adwords API.

It would also be great if you can provide a pointer/link to a sample code
which implements any of the above three targeting types.

Thanks,
Chaitanya

Inventory filter - SET operator not supported

2019-02-20 Thread Chaitanya Kulkarni
Hi Team,

I am trying to update the existing Inventory filter(Product Scope) using
the APIs. But its failing with following error:
==
 "Error": "An exception occurred while saving the product
scope:[CampaignCriterionError.OPERATOR_NOT_SUPPORTED_FOR_CRITERION_TYPE @
operations[0]; trigger:'PRODUCT']"
==

Following is my code:
===

CampaignCriterion campaignCriterion = new CampaignCriterion();

campaignCriterion.setCampaignId(campaignId);

campaignCriterion.setCriterion(ProductScopeModelObject);

CampaignCriterionOperation criterionOperation = new
CampaignCriterionOperation();

criterionOperation.setOperand(campaignCriterion);

criterionOperation.setOperator(Operator.SET);

===

ADD and REMOVE operators are working perfectly fine with above code. Can
you please let me know if "SET" operator is supported for "ProductScope"?

Thanks,

Frequent time outs while accessing Adwords APIs

2019-02-11 Thread Chaitanya Kulkarni
Hi Team,

I've been working on the project which uses Adwords APIs to create the
campaigns, Ad groups etc. since last few weeks. Today, I got multiple
timeout errors when accessing the APIs from the code. Budget, Campaign and
Adgroup APIs were mostly failing due to timeout issues.

I am using v201809 APIs.

Could you please let me know if there are any changes required in the
code/API version level to resolve this issue?

Thanks,

Customer Sync Service ERROR - CustomerSyncError.MISSING_IDS

2015-11-17 Thread Chaitanya Kulkarni
While calling customer sync service I want to fetch all the campaigns which
have changed from a certain date.
In the API documentation given here

 it
is not mandatory to give campaign ids. But when I dont give campaign
ids in the selector I am getting CustomerSyncError.MISSING_IDS error. I am
attaching a file of my code here
where I saw this issue. Please revert whether I am missing something or
this is a genuine bug.

PFA code.

Regards,
Chaitanya.

Adding Tracking Template to Account (Customer) level

2015-02-27 Thread Chaitanya Kulkarni
How do I update my account with the new tracking template(201409 api
release)? The new tracking template setting examples are for setting
template at the ad level. I was not able to find out how do I set my
tracking template for a customer. Which mutate operation should I use for
changing the template? I have checked the documentation for account
management and I could not find an example for setting some fields for a
Customer(Account). Could you help me find how to do it?
