Re: Long Value For One Indian Rupees (INR 1/-)

2015-05-29 Thread Raghavendra Soudala (AdWords API Team)
Hi Prashant,

1 currency unit will always be equal to 100 micros irrespective of the
currency. So it means 1 INR = 100 micros in your case.

Make sure your *account currency* *code* is set INR. Also, see our docs on
money amounts in reports
for

more explanation.

Cheers,

The API reports are organized at various levels such as account, campaign,
ad group, keyword, etc. Nearly all reports include a *Cost* column that
provides the cost associated with each row. Please let me know if the *Cost*
value
does not provide the information you are looking for.

Re: API key AdWords for smaller agencies

2015-05-22 Thread Raghavendra Soudala (AdWords API Team)
Hi Barbora,

A developer token is required to perform any operation against an account
using the AdWords API, so you will need to go through the signup process
 and fill out the
token
application form . There
are two types of access levels for using API which are outlined in our FAQ's
.

Please make sure you watch for the email in the follow-up form described in
step
2 . A
common cause of delays in the application process is that applicants don't
complete that step.

Cheers,
Raghavendra, AdWords API Team.

Re: Roll Back To Previous State

2015-05-18 Thread Raghavendra Soudala (AdWords API Team)
Hi Prashant,

We don't currently plan to add rollback functionality to the API. However,
if you want to simply confirm that your mutate operations are well-formed
and pass basic validation, you can use the validateOnly header
<https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/guides/working-with-objects#validating-mutates>
. This will validate your operations but will not commit the changes.

Raghavendra, AdWords API Team.

Re: ReportDefinitionError.CUSTOMER_SERVING_TYPE_REPORT_MISMATCH

2015-05-18 Thread Raghavendra Soudala (AdWords API Team)
Hi Abbas,

An MCC account is a top level account which manages the AdWords accounts
under it. Here is a diagram from our documentation which explains the account
hierarchy
.

You can use ManagedCustomerService

 to
get the account hierarchy. As a starting point, you can use our PHP client
library example

 which
helps you in retrieving your account hierarchy.

If you want report data for all accounts under an MCC, you'll have to run
the report separately for each account as mentioned in the reporting on
multiple accounts section of our reporting guide
.

In addition, most reports can only be run with the *clientCustomerId* set
to an AdWords account, not an MCC account.

Regards,
Raghavendra, AdWords API Team.

Re: developer token and test account

2015-05-15 Thread Raghavendra Soudala (AdWords API Team)
Hi,

A developer token *is *required to issue API requests against *Test or
Production* accounts. The only difference is that your token should be
*approved* to use it against the Production account, whereas approval is
not required for Test accounts.

To apply for a developer token, you need an MCC account. Steps for signing
up for an MCC and applying for a developer token are outlined in the
following document
.

Re: Roll Back To Previous State

2015-05-13 Thread Raghavendra Soudala (AdWords API Team)
Hi Prashant,

Thank you for reaching out to us. AdWords API does not provide support for
rollback request. However, in the AdWords user interface you can go to *Change
history* and undo individual changes.

Cheers

Re: How to get total AverageCPC?

2015-05-13 Thread Raghavendra Soudala (AdWords API Team)
Hi Michael,

Generally Average CPC = Sum of costs/Sum of Clicks for that period of time.

So can you try calculating the total average CPC by the following method
Sum of total costs(for those 7 days )/Sum of total clicks (for those 7 days
) instead of Sum of average CPC/No of days.

I hope it resolves your problem.

Thanks for your response@Dorian.

Re: How to create whitelist account for developer to access BudgetOrderService

2015-05-12 Thread Raghavendra Soudala (AdWords API Team)
Hi Rothana,

You can ask your Google Account Manager to set up monthly invoicing on your
production MCC account and also get it *whitelisted* so that you can use
BudgetOrderService.

And you are correct, we won't whitelist a test account for this service.

Re: retrieve clicks/impressions, etc reports by the hour? For 24 hours a day in one report?

2015-05-08 Thread Raghavendra Soudala (AdWords API Team)
Hi Michael,

You can use *HourOfDay* field, that allows you to retrieve report *for
each hour *in one report. But that is only available in the ACCOUNT,
CAMPAIGN, and ADGROUP performance reports.

As Aditya mentioned, if you set the DateRangeType as LAST_30_DAYS then it
would do the job for you. In addition here are the various *Date
range types
* and *Report types
* that are
supported.

Thank you for your post@Aditya.

Cheers,

Your question looks more like a product-related, so I suggest that you post
it on our product forum .

Re: credentials expires with .NET client

2015-05-07 Thread Raghavendra Soudala (AdWords API Team)
Hi PPC Developer,

When you generated your OAuth credentials, did you set the *access_type* to
*online*? If so, then you only received an *access_token*, and an
*access_token* will expire in roughly one hour.

Could you try generating your OAuth credentials, but this time request an
*access_type* of offline? This will give you a *refresh token* which you
can store in your web.config file, and the client library will
automatically obtain new *access tokens* for you. With this setup you
shouldn't get any interruptions.

We also have a *guide
* and
a github wiki page

 that
might help you in setting this up.

Cheers,
Raghavendra, AdWords API Team.

If you do not pass a *file path*, then *DownloadReport* will return the

Re: Why can I submit an array of URLs in the finalURLs field for Ads and keywords?

2015-05-06 Thread Raghavendra Soudala (AdWords API Team)
Hi Heiko,

Here is the Upgraded URLs guide
 which
explain that multiple final URLs is usually used for the case where you are
specifying a *trackingUrlTemplate*, and the tracker is redirecting some
clicks to finalURL A and others to finalURL B.

You can edit these in the *UI* by choosing *Final URL* instead of *Destination
URL* when editing your ad. However, in the UI you can only set *one* final
URL. If you set multiple final URLs using the API, the first one will be
displayed, and you can see the others via the balloon tooltip next to the
displayed URL.

Cheers,
Raghavendra, AdWords API Team.

Re: How to add image ad?

2015-05-05 Thread Raghavendra Soudala (AdWords API Team)
Hi Jason,

Here is an example of creating an image object and populating its data
using Java lib:

Image image = new Image();
image.setData(
com.google.api.ads.common.lib.utils.Media.getMediaDataFromUrl("
http://goo.gl/HJM3L";));

You can use this image object as the image attribute of the ImageAd

.

Also, make sure you don't use MediaService because that's only for specific
use cases involving template ads. I hope it answers your question.

Cheers,
Raghavendra, AdWords API Team.

Re: AdWords Data Get Through Web Service

2015-05-05 Thread Raghavendra Soudala (AdWords API Team)
Hello Pravin,

Based on the redirect_uri in the URL, it looks like the application is a
*native application, *but it sounds like a web application would be a
better fit for your use case. A *web application* will allow you to specify
a redirect URI that will receive the authorization code from the OAuth
flow. Please check out the OAuth documentation on the web flow
<https://developers.google.com/identity/protocols/OAuth2WebServer> for more
details. I hope this guide
<https://github.com/googleads/googleads-dotnet-lib/wiki/Using-OAuth2#adding-oauth2-support-for-your-application-single-login>
 might
also help you.

Setting *access_type* to offline will give you a refresh token, so you will
have to prompt each user only once. After that, you can use the refresh
token to get access tokens for user, and save those permissions in
web.config file.

Cheers,
Raghavendra, AdWords Api Team.

Re: Need to get details of feeditems with 0 clicks

2015-05-04 Thread Raghavendra Soudala (AdWords API Team)
Hi Nitish,

You may want to take a look at our Zero Impressions guide
,

which explains how you can include or exclude report data without
impressions.

Also, the Report Types list
 indicates
whether each field on a given report supports zero impressions. In your
particular case, the AdGroupId, AdGroupName, CampaignId, and CampaignName
fields do *not* support zero impressions.

If you want to see customizer feed information for items without any
impressions or clicks, make sure you only request fields where *Supports
zero impressions* is *true*.

Cheers,
Raghavendra, AdWords API Team.

Re: Need Developer token for existing product account

2015-05-04 Thread Raghavendra Soudala (AdWords API Team)
Hi Pravin

You need to have an MCC account
(not a regular AdWords
account) to sign up for a dev token.

If you are already using an MCC, you won't be able to access dev token as
read-only user (the AdWords API Center won't appear for read-only users).
If you need any further help just let me know.

Re: How to add a template ad into the ad group

2015-05-04 Thread Raghavendra Soudala (AdWords API Team)
HI Jason

Template ID 190 is not currently supported in the AdWords API. However, here
is a list of the supported template ads
.

For an example of how to add a *TemplateAd* using the API, check out the
*AddClickToDownloadAd* example in the *advancedoperations* folder of the client
library you
are using, e.g., the Java example is here

.

Regards,
Raghavendra, AdWords API Team.

Re: How to add an Audience into the Ad Group

2015-05-04 Thread Raghavendra Soudala (AdWords API Team)
Hi Jason,

To add an audience into the Ad Group you should use a
BiddableAdGroupCriterion

where *criterion* = a CriterionUserList with userListId set

. If you need to find the user list ID, use AdwordsUserListService.get

.

As a starting point you you can use the AddKeywords example

 to
write AddAudience since it is the same approach, but make sure you use a
*CriterionUserList* instead of a *Keyword*. If you face any issues just let
me know.

Cheers,
Raghavendra, AdWords API Team.
