from MCC account *"B"* or PCC account *"C"* after that i can manage Ads or
campaigns. but *i don't want* to link Account *"B"* & *"C"* to *"A" .*

 Can you please let me know if any API will solve my question or any other
way to access & manage adword using login will google API .

How to create test mcc account using an email which is already associated with an AdWords account?

2018-03-05 Thread ankit

I've created a manager account with my email
While going through docs, I realised that I need test mcc account and test
client account to try and test APIs.
I tried creating test account by going on the link given in that doc but
there notice on the top that it is a test account.
How do I create test mcc account and test client account?

How to get keyword search volume for specific time spans??

2013-07-02 Thread Ankit Bhutani
Hi,

I am using TargetingIdeaService to get info about the search volume for
particular keyword. But I need this information by specific dates(like last
1 month, last 2 months, 3 months etc). It would be more usefull if I could
specify exact dates but I might be able to manage without that.

I a little new to adwords, so please bear with me

 Hi Josh

 I tried creating an ad based on the TrueView template within the
 Adwords web interface. I can select the YouTube video fill out the form
 but
 every time I try and save the ad the error pops up saying "Please
 correct errors above"

 These are the steps I use to produce this problem.

 Login to Adwords using my test MCC account
 Select one of my client account which I created
 Create a Campaign of type "Search Network with Display Select" with
 "All Features" checked
 Enter a daily budget (all other settings are default)
 Create Campaign
 Create an Ad Group with a default bid (all other settings are default)
 On the Ad tab, click the + Ad dropdown, select Ad Gallery
 Select Video Ads
 Select TrueView in-display video ad
 Fill out the Ad form
 Add Headline, Description
 Select a YouTube video (Looks like you can select any YouTube video) At
 no point has it asked me to link my YouTube account.
 I select a YouTube video that I know about
 Select a thumbnail (it selects the first by default)
 Give it a name
 Hit Save
 Get error message "Please fix above errors"

 There are no errors to fix

 Screens

 I have tried this with a proper Adwords account also, same issue. So I
 can't query for a created ad via the API because it seems I can't even
 create one. This is all done via the standard Adwords interface (Online
 Campaigns not Video Campaigns)

 Please advise, thanks
 Richard

Re: conversion tracker installation verification

2019-06-24 Thread Ankit Agarwal
This solution is of no help to me. I am developing an application that let
the user create an ad over the google adwords platform. So *I need to
verify the tracker installation through some API* (I cannot check
individual user account for conversion tracker) so that I can allow my
users to use bid strategies that require conversion tracker.

Bid adjustment mismatch while location targetting

2022-12-18 Thread Ankit Pradhan
Hi team,

I want to achieve the google ads functionality of adjusting bids while
location targetting. However, we have somewhat achieved the functionality
but there is a % mismatch on our application and google ads UI.

If we set bid adjustment value 3 on our side, then on google ads side it is
showing 200%.

*if (locationObj.containsKey("bidModifier") &&
!locationObj.getString("bidModifier").equals("0") &&
!locationObj.getString("bidModifier").equals("0.0")) {
campaignCriterion.setBidModifier(Float.parseFloat(locationObj.getString("bidModifier")));

} CampaignCriterionOperation operation =
CampaignCriterionOperation.newBuilder()
.setCreate(campaignCriterion.build()) .build(); operations.add(operation);}*

This is the code block that we are using to adjust bids for location
targetting.

Can you please help me in this as I have not found any concrete solution on
this.

Thanks
Ankit Pradhan

I would like to understand how UserIdentifier works. For example, if I have

UserData and combine everything into a single UserData with multiple
UserIdentifier.

https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/docs/remarketing/audience-types/customer-match

I have tried to refer to the documentation and google results as well, but
I could not get a concrete answer, so I thought this is the best place to
get clarification.

Thank you

Re: Cannot change the bidding strategy to Maximize Conversions

2022-06-27 Thread Ankit Pradhan
Hi,

Thanks for replying. If the bidding strategy is already maximize
conversions, I can change it to manual cpc, target cpa or target impression
share using the Google Ads api and if the bidding strategy is manual cpc,
target cpa or target impressions share, I cannot change it to maximize
conversions using the api.

Below is the code snippet that I am using to change it to maximize
conversions from manual cpc, target cpa or target impressions share

*MaximizeConversions.Builder maximizeConversionsBuilder =
MaximizeConversions.newBuilder();newCampaign.setMaximizeConversions(maximizeConversionsBuilder.build());*

Re: Cannot find proper implementation for Conversion Tracker

2022-08-17 Thread Ankit Pradhan
Hi team,

Thanks for replying. By using CampaignConversionGoal
<https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/reference/rpc/v11/CampaignConversionGoal>
 ,
how can we set conversion action id.

I was using SelectiveOptimization class to set the resource name that I
have created by using the conversion action id and then I am setting the
SelectiveOptimization object to the campaign object. Basically this is what
I am doing

String resourceName = ResourceNames.conversionAction(customerId,
conversionActionId);
Campaign.SelectiveOptimization selectiveOptimization =
Campaign.SelectiveOptimization.newBuilder
().addConversionActions(resourceName).build();
newCampaign.setSelectiveOptimization(selectiveOptimization);

But it is throwing me error that the "error code is not in the current
version"

If multiple conversion tracker has been installed on a website then the
conversion insights received in reporting will be multiplied by the number
of conversion trackers or they remain unaffected?

Budget Order Service doc seems to be very confusing for me.
Let me rephrase my requirement here:

When a user connects with Google then at that moment I would like to know
whether his client account is eligible to deliver ads or not.

1.) Please provide me various conditions when client accounts may not be
eligible to deliver ads? (like billing method not setup)
2.) Suppose User created an ad but his billing was not setup then how I am
going to know that the ad is not being delivered since his billing is not
setup?

product-related data(like brand, category, item-id, product type, etc.)
while filtering the inventory but I don't know a way to get this data in
the first place.

Please help me out here.

Re: How should I get the list of Google merchant account linked with Google Client account?

2020-04-14 Thread Ankit Agarwal
Is there any API endpoint available, which can list linked merchant center
account with the user client accounts?
If yes then while creating shopping ads I will be able to list Merchant
accounts to my users.

Just like MerchantCenterLinkService
<https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/reference/rpc/google.ads.googleads.v3.services#google.ads.googleads.v3.services.MerchantCenterLinkService>

for Google Ads API, do we have any service in Google Adwords API?

Can you please verify, is this the right link to fetch product data

this is probably because you must be using a developer token. You can try
Google keywords planner tool and can see the real output from there.

I am not able to understand how dynamic ad targeting works?

2020-05-07 Thread Ankit Agarwal

If you see in the attachment, I have added multiple webpage criteria.
Two webpage criteria have multiple conditions.

All I want to know "Is my audience getting narrow down??" or each criteria
works as OR gate and condition work as And gate or vice versa?

Please help me out.

I am getting Ad Error INVALID_AD_TYPE exception while trying to update shopping and expanded dynamic search ad.

2020-05-30 Thread Ankit Agarwal
I am getting an exception: AdError.INVALID_AD_TYPE @
operations[0].operand.id
full error:
[{:field_path=>"operations[0].operand.id",
:field_path_elements=>[{:field=>"operations", :index=>0},
{:field=>"operand"}, {:field=>"id"}], :trigger=>"",
:error_string=>"AdError.INVALID_AD_TYPE", :api_error_type=>"AdError",
:reason=>"INVALID_AD_TYPE", :xsi_type=>"AdError"}]

I am using 'AdService', creating both shopping as well as expanded dynamic
search ads.
below are my operations set for shopping and expanded dynamic search ad
respectively:

shopping:
[{:operator=>"SET", :operand=>{:id=>"438598577711",
:xsi_type=>"ProductAd"}}]

Expanded Dynamic Search Ad:
[{:operator=>"SET", :operand=>{:id=>"438551952907",
:xsi_type=>"ExpandedDynamicSearchAd", :description=>"too tired for this"}}]

My ad type seems to be valid according to me, my [operator -> 'ADD']
requests are working fine. This exception is only happening while updating
an ad.

The Google Ads API release notes for 4.0.0 beta

the support of Smart Campaigns. What capabilities have been released as
part of this support for Smart Campaigns?

Thank you!
