trademarkDisapproved vs disapprovalReasons
Hello, I'm a little confused about the following fields and their meanings. https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/reference/latest/AdGroupAdService.AdGroupAd#trademarkDisapproved https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/reference/latest/AdGroupAdService.Ad#disapprovalReasons For the most part, these values seem to be mutually exclusive. If 'trademarkDisapproved' is true, then there aren't any 'disapprovalReasons'. Similarly, if there are 'disapprovalReasons', then 'trademarkDisapproved' is false. There are a few cases where this doesn't seem to hold true. The following is a list of 'disapprovalReasons' I'm seeing when 'trademarkDisapproved' is set to true. - Grammar and Spelling Trademark in Ad Content - Spacing Trademark in Ad Content - Trademark in Ad Content - [Trademarks] Trademark in Ad Content The following thread seems to imply I shouldn't see anything in the 'disapprovalReasons' when 'trademarkDisapproved' is true. https://groups.google.com/d/topic/adwords-api/NMHXtyfdd2M/discussion Also, I'm seeing the following in 'disapprovalReasons' when 'trademarkDisapproved' is set to false. What's the difference between these and 'trademarkDisapproved'? They all seem to fall into the trademark bucket. - Firearms and Ammunition Trademark in Ad Content - Grammar and Spelling Trademark in Ad Content - Pharmacy Policy Violation Trademark in Ad Content - Restricted Product Trademark in Ad Content - Spacing Trademark in Ad Content - Trademark in Ad Content - Trademark in Ad Content Adult Content - Age Verification - Trademark in Ad Content Grammar and Spelling - Trademark in Ad Content Policy Violation on Business Page - Trademark in Ad Content Restricted Product - Trademark in Ad Content Spacing - Trademark in Ad Content Teen Porn - Unacceptable Content Trademark in Ad Content - [Trademarks] Trademark in Ad Content Herbal Drugs and Accessories - [Trademarks] Trademark in Ad Text Thanks in Advance, Mike -- -- =~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~ Also find us on our blog and discussion group: http://adwordsapi.blogspot.com http://groups.google.com/group/adwords-api =~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups AdWords API Forum group. Re: Perl Library v201206 QuotaCheckError.INVALID_TOKEN_HEADER with developer token
Are you setting the alternate_url for sandbox? The token does contain a hyphen, and perhaps that's causing an issue. I'll have to try and obtain another developer token and investigate further. Re: Cross referencing AD_PERFORMANCE_REPORT and KEYWORDS_PERFORMANCE_REPORT
Thanks for the reply! I'm currently using just the keywordId, which seems to be working for now. I'm following the information under 'Report Fields Normalization' on http://code.google.com/apis/adwords/docs/reportguide.html#normalization. Someone told me that keywordId is not unique to a campaign and that uniqueness is defined by an adgroupId/keywordId combination. It would be great to get some clarification on this. Platform Mobile Platform
I'm looking at the following pages: http://code.google.com/apis/adwords/docs/appendix/mobileplatforms.html http://code.google.com/apis/adwords/docs/appendix/platforms.html I'm also referring to http://code.google.com/p/google-api-adwords-java/source/browse/trunk/examples/v201109/AddCampaignTargetingCriteria.java I assume I use the same Platform object for both sets of CriteriaIds. Is there any documentation on what to expect when different combinations are used? For example, if I use 'Tablet' and 'iOS', does this mean I'm targeting iPads? Re: Platform Mobile Platform
Also, would 'HighEndMobile' encompass all the mobile platforms? I would expect it to include 'iOS', 'Android', and 'Palm'. Re: How to add GeoLocation to Campaign (version 201109)
Hello Minh, Thank you for the example. I'm programming in Java, but this is very helpful. I'm wondering if you can tell me if I need multiple CampaignCriterions for when I want to set multiple Languages. In other words, one CampaignCriterion per Language. Also, are there any official examples for this part of the migration? wsdl2java
I realize there isn't really a need to generate client code for the wsdl files, but I'm trying to learn how to use wsdl2java that's available from apache. I was wondering if someone could tell me how google is generating their client jar. I've tried the following command and I'm unsuccessful: wsdl2java.sh -ssi -u -uri wsdl_files/ AdExtensionOverrideService.wsdl Using AXIS2_HOME: /Users/mmasters/Local/axis Using JAVA_HOME: /System/Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/1.6.0.jdk/ Contents/Home Retrieving document at 'wsdl_files/AdExtensionOverrideService.wsdl'. [INFO] The ./src/com/google/adwords/api/adwords/cm/v201109/ ApiException.java file cannot be overwritten. I keep running into problems with ApiException. I've tried the -or argument to wsdl2java.sh, but that doesn't help. When I go to compile the generated code, I run into compilation erorrs. -- =~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~ Also find us on our blog and discussion group: http://adwordsapi.blogspot.com http://groups.google.com/group/adwords-api =~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups AdWords API Forum group.
