Basic Access Application

2023-06-05 Thread Rohit
Hi Team,

Hope you are having a great week so far!

Its been two weeks since I applied for basic access on my developer token
associated with my company's manager account (770-168-1162) but did not
receive any updates or feedback from the Ads Api team.

I have also requested via the Ads API Compliance form but could not get a
response.

Could you please look into this as this is affecting the development scope
and delaying projects on a larger scale.

Best Regards,
Rohit

campaign listed in api result but not visible in Google Ads Interface

2023-03-24 Thread Rohit Agrawal
I am creating campaigns using https://github.com/googleads/google-ads-php
AddCampaign.php works fine and it returns the campaign ID generated by
Google Ads which is stored in our db.

Then using GetCampaigns.php we can verify the campaigns as those are listed
in output

however the same campaign are NOT visible in Google Ads interface.
I am not able to figure out the reason for this strange issue, would really
appreciate any help to figure out what is going on?

Special Characters match in REGEXP_MATCH

2022-05-25 Thread 'Rohit Lalwani' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hello there,

I am trying to match campaign names with special characters like [,] etc.

My regular expression is campaign.name REGEXP_MATCH '(?i).*\[.*'
But when I try to get data using this regular expression, it gives me error
saying that it is invalid (BAD_VALUE).

I have checked that Google Ads uses RE2 syntax for regular expression and I
have verified that the above expression is valid.
I have also checked this regular expression in google sheets and it works
fine there.

Could you let me know how I can achieve the said result through regular
expression?

Thanks & Regards

Like generatekeywordIdeas do not have any monthly limit.
Is there any monthly limit on this.
Here is my flow.
I create one Keyword plan, ad group, etc at last i will add 1000 Keyword in
ad group. (This is one tome task mean i will do this only ones)

then whenever i want stats for 100 Keyword i will update first 100 Keyword
of above creted Ad group
I am asking limit of this thing.

I already read the docs but still not find a way to send 1 keyword.

as described in docs i have to use KeywordPlanCampaignKeywords
,

or KeywordPlanAdGroupKeywords

.

so my question is they both (KeywordPlanCampaignKeywords
,

and KeywordPlanAdGroupKeywords
.)

have property called text where i can put only one keyword?

So what to do?

OK, BTW  *generate forcast metrics*
<https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/docs/keyword-planning/generate-forecast-metrics?hl=en>
 also
do not support JSON input or more than one keyword.
If support then me exact function name for better understanding.

Can i use Ads API for my SEO Tool

2021-07-25 Thread Rohit Nishad
Hi,

I saw many big seo tools like Ahrefs, Semrush, etc.
They use Google Ads API i think

There are also some reseller of these API that claim they have thier own
data.. which is impossible because no one excluding know the exact search
volume number.

I am thinking to make my own Keyword research tool I use savral APIs...
on of them Ads API, is google allow this?

Can i use it? If so, is it paid?
If not, how and why other tools use this.

Note: I want to know Official Answer, what google policy say about this.

Thanks

Scope for pulling data from google ads API

2020-10-19 Thread Rohit Sharma
Hi Team,

I am pretty new to google ads API.

Problem Statement - I want to pull in campaign data from my google ads
account using python google ads API. I am using a codebase from
github
https://github.com/googleads/google-ads-python/blob/master/examples/campaign_management/get_campaigns_by_label.py

to ingest the data but running into an issue, *error message* - Request is
missing required authentication credential. Expected OAuth 2 access token,
login cookie or other valid authentication credential. Few links on
stackoverflow highlight that it may be issue related to scope. What all
scopes are required in order to access data using google ads API ?

Appreciate if anyone can help here.

Is it possible to send the sales data to the AdWords manually through the

If yes, can you please suggest the possible ways?

Dynamic Remarketing - Is it Possible Via the API

2015-07-31 Thread Rohit Palmurkar
Hi

We are trying to create a dynamic Remarketing Campaign via the API and are
facing some issues.

1. Is it possible to enable Dynamic Ads for a particular campaign via the
API? Can creation of a dynamic remarketing campaign be possible via the API?
2. What are the operations that can be done specifically for dynamic
remarketing via the API ?

Thanks

Error 502 (Server Error)!!1

2014-10-21 Thread rohit

Hi,

Got the following error several times yesterday (using v201402) while
deleting keywords from an ad group. Is this another case where we have to
add error handling in the code or is it resolved in v201409 which we are in
the process of migrating to.

Thanks, Rohit

Re: What is the maximum number of keywords I can add using SimpleMutateService in a single shot?

2014-09-15 Thread Rohit Chawla
Hi Kapil,

I am also facing the same exception as you faced and after reading your
replies it seems that you have got the solution of the problem. Can you
please post the solution to over come this problem.
In brief, I am calling a third party web service using the SOAP request in
my java application. Each SOAP request is having 2000 patient records to
get their updates. While calling to the web service I am getting runtime
uncaught exception net.sf.saxon.om.NamePool$NamePoolLimitException:
NamePool limit exceeded: max 1023 prefixes per URI. An internal error
occurred in the ESB. I want to know 1. Is this client side issue or server
side. 2. If this is client side issue how to resolve this problem. Please
suggest ASAP as I am facing this issue in my production environment.Thanks

Regards,
Rohit

We are seeing this same error for the past few days using the Ruby client.
We make two scheduled attempts to download data at 3:30 AM and 5:30 AM,

 Hi All,

 Is there a reason why the refresh would only fail for one API call and not

Scope Of Video Ads - Adwords API

2013-03-13 Thread Rohit Palmurkar
Hey

I am new to the adwords API and I wanted to know a few things about Video
Ads. Searched the forum for older posts related to this topic but most of
them were very dated.

I wanted to know if there is a way to do the following things through the
API.

1. Change or Adjust the Max CPV bid of a video ad through the API.
2. Enable or Pause particular placements, topics, interests, demographic
ranges and gender through the API?
3. Pull out placement level, demographic level, topic level, interest level
data of a particular campaign for a specific date range through the API.

Kindly point me in the right direction for the above things.

TargetingIdeaService - getBulkKeywordIdeas maxResults = 100?

2012-08-29 Thread Rohit Chopra
Hi,

I am trying to use the getBulkKeywordIdeas with
RelatedToUrlSearchParameter. No matter how I specify the paging, I get
totalNumEntries = 100. I have tried several URL's including Google.com and
Yahoo.com. Was the numberResults changed from 500 to 100 and left
undocumented?

Snippet:
$selector-searchParameters[] = new RelatedToUrlSearchParameter($url);
$selector-searchParameters[] = new LocationSearchParameter($loc);
$selector-searchParameters[] = new LanguageSearchParameter($languages);

$selector-paging = new Paging(0, 100);
$selector-paging-startIndex = 95;
$selector-paging-numberResults = 500;
$page = $targetingIdeaService-getBulkKeywordIdeas($selector);

The above snippet returns

*public* 'totalNumEntries' = int 100
but the count of entries is only 5. Shouldnt it be 100 (index 95 to 194)?

In the sandbox however, it returns 1 numberOfResults for any such query.

TargetingIdeaService - Keyword Ideas - KEYWORD_CATEGORY

2012-03-29 Thread Rohit Chopra
Hi Guys,

I have a PHP application that accesses the TargetingIdeaService to get
Keyword Ideas. One of the most important thing in this tool is to get the
KEYWORD_CATEGORY for the keywords resulting from the service. It seems to
be working just fine in the sandbox, but the production does not return the
KEYWORD_CATEGORY for ANY keywords.

Here is an example query:

$keywordList['unit testing'] = 1;
$response = null;
$user = new AdWordsUser();
$targetingIdeaService =
$user-GetService('TargetingIdeaService', 'v201109');

$targetKeywords = array();
$i = 0;
foreach ($keywordList as $key = $val) {
$targetKeywords[$i] = new Keyword();
$targetKeywords[$i]-text = $key;
$targetKeywords[$i]-matchType = 'PHRASE';

$i++;
}

$selector = new TargetingIdeaSelector();
$selector-requestType = 'IDEAS';
$selector-ideaType = 'KEYWORD';
$selector-requestedAttributeTypes = array(
'AVERAGE_TARGETED_MONTHLY_SEARCHES',
'CRITERION',
'KEYWORD_CATEGORY'
);

$loc = array();
$location = new location();
$location-id = '2840';
$loc[] = $location;

$selector-searchParameters[] = new
RelatedToKeywordSearchParameter($targetKeywords);
$selector-searchParameters[] = new
KeywordMatchTypeSearchParameter(array('BROAD'));
$selector-searchParameters[] = new
LocationSearchParameter($loc);

$selector-paging = new Paging(0, 10);
$page = $targetingIdeaService-get($selector);

As you can see, I am requesting the KEYWORD_CATEGORY for the keyword ideas,
and like I said it works fine in the sandbox (even though the values of the
Keyword_category are dummy in the sandbox) but all keywords return NULL on
the production.

Is this a bug? Or am I doing something wrong.

My end goal is to get keyword idea for a certain keyword category using
CategoryProductsAndServicesSearchParameter. So for the keyword Unit
Testing I would only like ideas in the Internet and telecom category.

DatabaseError.CONCURRENT_MODIFICATION on large keyword bids update query

2011-04-04 Thread Rohit Dantas
Hi i was updating ~4552 keyword bids today and received the following error,
even though no-one else was using our account to modify keywords, nor was
any other API process try to do the same. The next attempt to do the same
worked without a problem.

Do you know what could be the issue? Should I just acknowledge that this
error can occur once in a while and build a retry mechanism? What would be
the best practice here?

Re: custom time range not saved in ReportDefinition

2011-02-14 Thread Rohit Dantas
Hi Eric,

Sorry for the late reply, but I only just noticed your reply to the above
issue as I was on holiday when Johannes wrote the above bug report.

We have been subject to the same problem multiple times over the past 2
weeks, but quite sporadically. It will work without a hitch for a few days,
then again fail at a later point. Sometimes, if we just rerun the same
script at a later time of the day it automagically seems to work.

The same problem has occurred once again today and the retries are also not
working.

We only work with 2 different report definitions (per account / tracking-id)
and the problem seemed to occur on both reports in the beginning. In the
meantime, we have changed our system to validate this date change on every
report update and kill the script if it fails so we no longer see if the
second report also fails after the first one fails (if the first report
update passes, the second report update always works).

Do you have an idea why this behavior is occurring for us?

Cheers,
Rohit

AdWords API Keyword for content Targeting in report service.

2009-12-09 Thread rohit a
Hi,

I have added many keywords in Content only Targeting campaign. When i
use the report service i get the following for all the ads in the
content targeting campaign.

Snippet shown :
keywordid=300 kwSite=Total - content targeting

Is there any association of keywords with ads in content targeting?

Please guide me in the right direction.

Thanks  regards
Rohit A

AdWords API Keyword status change not getting reflected.

2009-12-07 Thread rohit a
Hi,

When i change the status of the keyword in the adwords UI, and then
use the v13 api to get the keyword object, the status change is not
reflected in the object.
Also if i change the status of the keyword using keyword.setStatus
() using the adwords v13 api, no exception is returned, however in
adwords UI the change of status is not reflected.

I am using production account only.

AdWords API Re: what regex validates displayUrl?

2008-12-07 Thread Rohit

Jeff:

Seems like Nick would want to validate this on the client side even
before sending it to the server.

If the checkAds() method internally used regex to validate each
property in the Ad definition, it would be useful to open that up to
API users (including us) so they can preform client side validation
before submitting a request to the AdWords API server(s). Agreed that
this wouldn't be a 'catch all' validation but some level of client
side validation (before submission to the server) almost always
improves user experience.

 Hello Nick,

  I don't have a catch-all regex for you, but I'd recommend that you
 make use of the checkAds() and checkCriteria() methods to validate
 your ads and criteria (or at least a subset of them that you think
 might have issues) before trying to upload them. The methods cost a
 fraction of what a request to add the ads or criteria costs, and they
 should flag policy errors or any other type of issue that would
 prevent them from being accepted.
