RE: the campaign id from changeevent new resource is 0

2024-07-19 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to the Google Ads API support team.

Based on the information provided, I understand that you are not able to
retrieve the changes from your account using the change_event resource in the
Google Ads API. Upon checking your account (5359270827), I couldn't see any
changes made in your account using the Google Ads API or the Google Ads Web
Client and this is the reason you are not able to retrieve those changes from
the Google Ads API. Kindly note that using the change event event resource you
can retrieve only the changes made by the Google Ads API or the Google Ads Web
Client. If the changes are made by other tools it is not possible to retrieve
using the Google Ads API. I would recommend you to kindly refer to the 'Change
Event' documentation for more information.

Could you confirm if you are able to see any changes for those specific dates
in the Google Ads UI? If yes, I would request you to share the uncropped UI
screenshot of the Google Ads account (with visible customer ID) by highlighting
those changes for which you want to retrieve via the API.

You can send the details via Reply privately to the author option, or direct
private reply to this email.

2024-07-19 Thread Mike Fang

campaign ID to query more details about the changed campaign
But now I noticed the ID in the ChangeEvent new resource campaign is 0

And with apologies for missing the 90 days part, as well as limiting
results to one day, you cannot fetch results older than 90 days.

This query returns an error for me:

Re: find gclid using campaign id

2024-05-19 Thread D. H.
Hi,

You need to include a filter to limit the results to a single day.

This query works for me:
SELECT click_view.gclid, campaign.id FROM click_view WHERE segments.date =
'2024-05-01'

As does this:
SELECT click_view.gclid, campaign.id FROM click_view WHERE segments.date
BETWEEN '2024-05-01' AND '2024-05-01'

But if I extend it to even two days I return the same error you have:
SELECT click_view.gclid, campaign.id FROM click_view WHERE segments.date
BETWEEN '2024-05-01' AND '2024-05-02'

GoogleAdsException: (<_SingleThreadedRendezvous of RPC that terminated
with: status = StatusCode.INVALID_ARGUMENT details = "Request contains an
invalid argument." debug_error_string = "UNKNOWN:Error received from peer
ipv4:xxx.xx.xxx.xxx:xxx {created_time:"2024-05-20T09:30:00.00+00:00",
grpc_status:3, grpc_message:"Request contains an invalid argument."}" >,
<_SingleThreadedRendezvous of RPC that terminated with: status =
StatusCode.INVALID_ARGUMENT details = "Request contains an invalid
argument." debug_error_string = "UNKNOWN:Error received from peer
ipv4:xxx.xx.xxx.xxx:xxx {created_time:"2024-05-20T09:30:00.00+00:00",
grpc_status:3, grpc_message:"Request contains an invalid argument."}" >,
errors { error_code { request_error: UNKNOWN } message: "Queries including
ClickView must have a filter limiting the results to one day." }
request_id: "xx" , 'xx')

Hope this helps,

D.H.

Re: find gclid using campaign id

2024-05-17 Thread bhavya dev
Hi,

I've already posted error which I'm facing to fetch data older than 90 days
actually I can able to fetch campaign impression, ctr, clicks etc.. detail
which older than 90 days.

I'm fetching my campaign detail

below query I've used to fetch campaign details :-
SELECT
campaign.name,
campaign_budget.amount_micros,
campaign.status,
campaign.optimization_score,
campaign.advertising_channel_type,
metrics.clicks,
metrics.impressions,
metrics.ctr,
metrics.average_cpc,
campaign.bidding_strategy_type,
metrics.cost_micros
FROM campaign
  WHERE segments.date BETWEEN '{start_date}' AND
'{end_date}'

So when i try to fetch gclid with "SELECT click_view.gclid, campaign.id
FROM click_view WHERE segments.date BETWEEN '2022-10-01' AND '2022-10-30'
AND campaign.id = 14529401748" this query getting error [Queries including
ClickView must have a filter limiting the results to one day].

I want to fetch gclid such like this , please give me solution to resolve
this error.

Mapping gclid with campaign id

2023-09-16 Thread Karan Dev Tyagi

I am running ad campaigns and I want to track the performance of users I
acquire through those ads.

With the user data I get the gclid , I want to map this gclid with the
campaign name or campaign id.

I have created an google transfer to export google ads data into the
Bigquery. In that I can see the clickstats table, but I don't have have any
data in it even though it is getting updated daily.

Can Anyone please help? How can I get the data?

With regards to your concern, you can use campaign report using the campaign.id
field. Let me know if this what you are looking for. If not, could you please
provide full screen screenshot of the UI? So that i can further investigate the
issue. Please reply via privately author options.

search for the campaign id in that account.

https://github.com/googleads/google-ads-php/blob/main/examples/BasicOperations/GetCampaigns.php

this will help you get all the campaigns from the Google Ads account.
You can use the following example to use it for specific campaign id.

Seemingly duplicate campaign budget and unknonw campaign Id

2022-09-14 Thread Daniel da Silva
When querying Campaign Budgets for our account, we're encountering an odd
response. The query is as follows:

SELECT
campaign_budget.id,
campaign_budget.resource_name,
campaign.id,
campaign_budget.status,
campaign_budget.delivery_method,
campaign_budget.period,
campaign_budget.type,
campaign_budget.name,
campaign_budget.amount_micros,
campaign_budget.total_amount_micros,
campaign_budget.explicitly_shared,
campaign_budget.reference_count,
campaign_budget.has_recommended_budget,
campaign_budget.recommended_budget_amount_micros,
campaign_budget.recommended_budget_estimated_change_weekly_clicks,
campaign_budget.recommended_budget_estimated_change_weekly_cost_micros,
campaign_budget.recommended_budget_estimated_change_weekly_interactions,
campaign_budget.recommended_budget_estimated_change_weekly_views
FROM campaign_budget

This returns all Campaign Budgets in our account. However, a particular
campaign budget with ID CB1234 is included twice in the response. All of
the properties for these objects are identical, with the only difference
that one references Campaign ID C1313, and the other Campaign ID C1212.
Campaign ID C1313 actually exists in our account, while C1212 doesn't.

If we try to simply query that campaign, with a query like this:
SELECT
campaign.id
campaign.base_campaign,
campaign.name
FROM campaign
WHERE campaign.id = C1212

We get no data back.

So I'm confused as why we're getting two instances of Campaign Budget
CB1234, but with references to 2 different campaigns, while only one of
these campaigns actually exists.

My thought was that we had a 1-to-1 relationship between Campaigns and
Campaign Budgets. Is this not the case? Also how can it reference a
campaign that doesn't exist in the account?

I appreciate any help.

Note: the IDs are not the real ones for privacy.

prelaunch extensions data w campaign id

2022-01-24 Thread 'INI GlobalOps' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
We are getting extensions data for campaigns which have NOT run yet - they
have 0 impressions and have not been trafficked

We need to get the campaign.id associated with extension.id

Here's the query
   SELECT
campaign.id,
extension_feed_item.id,
extension_feed_item.sitelink_feed_item.final_urls,
extension_feed_item.extension_type,
extension_feed_item.call_feed_item.phone_number,
extension_feed_item.callout_feed_item.callout_text,
extension_feed_item.sitelink_feed_item.line1,
extension_feed_item.sitelink_feed_item.line2,
extension_feed_item.sitelink_feed_item.link_text,
extension_feed_item.structured_snippet_feed_item.values,
extension_feed_item.targeted_geo_target_constant,
extension_feed_item.targeted_keyword.text,
extension_feed_item.targeted_keyword.match_type,
extension_feed_item.status
FROM extension_feed_item However because of the campaign
segment we cannot get prelaunch data - in order to get prelaunch data we
have to remove campaign.id from the query Our question is how do we get
extension.id and campaign.id together for PRELAUNCH campaigns (campaigns
with 0 metrics)? Appreciate any guidance here. Thank you!

Re: Google Ads API : Get Impress and click by Campaign ID

2021-07-18 Thread Google Ads API Forum Advisor
Hello Naina,

Thanks for getting back to us.

Please note that this forum channel can only provide assistance to
issues/concerns related to the AdWords API / Google Ads API.

As previously mentioned by Aryeh, the Google Ads API permits only reporting of
video ads. Video campaigns must be created using the UI or Google Ads scripts.

With regard to the creation of Video Campaigns via Google Ads scripts, I'm
afraid that this is already of our team's expertise. What you can do instead is
to raise your concern to this Google Ads Scripts Forum channel instead.

Re: GAQL String Query | How to Select Campaign by Campaign ID

2021-07-14 Thread Mat
Hi Reid,

that depends on the programming language, you are using.
With Python you could do something like this, if you want to use a variable
instead of typing the ids manually into the query:

  campaign_ids_as_string = ', '.join(str(id) for id in campaign_ids)
  query = (
'SELECT '
'campaign.id, '
'campaign.name, '
'... '
'FROM campaign '
f'WHERE campaign.id IN ({campaign_ids_as_string})'
)

If you don't need that auxiliary variable "campaign_ids_as_string" anywhere
else, you could even write

...
f'WHERE campaign.id IN ({', '.join(str(id) for id in campaign_ids)})'
...

RE: GAQL String Query | How to Select Campaign by Campaign ID

2021-07-14 Thread Google Ads API Forum Advisor
Hello,

Thanks for reaching out. For this case, you can use the IN operator in place of

Re: GAQL String Query | How to Select Campaign by Campaign ID

2021-07-13 Thread 'reid hommedahl' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum
Hi Pete,

Thanks for the help here! I was able to successfully filter by campaign ID.

How would I write this if there are multiple campaign IDs? I tried using
commas, ampersands, and even writing another WHERE statement. All resulted
in errors.

Any help you could provide here would be really appreciated.

Thanks again,
Reid

GAQL String Query | How to Select Campaign by Campaign ID

2021-07-12 Thread 'reid hommedahl' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum
Hello,

I'm trying to write a string query that returns a few different things--
but I would like to filter which campaigns are returned by campaign ID.
Here's the string query I have wrote so far:

String query =
"SELECT campaign.id, campaign.name,
campaign.vanity_pharma.vanity_pharma_text FROM campaign
WHERE campaign.id 11031113693
ORDER BY campaign.id";

The error says:

}

It worked before I entered the "WHERE" part of the query, but now it
doesn't seem to be working. Any help you could provide on how to write this
query would be really appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi Naina,

Thanks for reaching out to the Google Ads API Support.

You may include the metrics.impressions, metrics.clicks,
campaign_budget.amount_micros fields and other parameters in your SELECT query
by using a campaign report. Once you’ve constructed a GAQL query, you may use
our reporting example here for the PHP client library.

Hope this helps. Let us know if you have any questions.

campaign id, name and adgroup id, name in ads list

2020-08-10 Thread denma test
Hi
Have taken Ads list using selectors as like in below code, $session =
self::setSession();
$adWordsServices = new AdWordsServices();
$adService = $adWordsServices->get($session, AdService::class);
$adGroupAdService = $adWordsServices->get($session,
AdGroupAdService::class);
// $AdId = intval($AdId);
$adData = array();
   $selector = new Selector();
$selectors =
array('Id','BaseCampaignId','AdType','MultiAssetResponsiveDisplayAdMarketingImages',

'MultiAssetResponsiveDisplayAdSquareMarketingImages',
'MultiAssetResponsiveDisplayAdLandscapeLogoImages',
'MultiAssetResponsiveDisplayAdLogoImages',
'MultiAssetResponsiveDisplayAdHeadlines','MultiAssetResponsiveDisplayAdLongHeadline',

'MultiAssetResponsiveDisplayAdBusinessName',
'MultiAssetResponsiveDisplayAdDescriptions',
'DisplayUrl','CreativeFinalUrls','CreativeFinalUrlSuffix','MultiAssetResponsiveDisplayAdCallToActionText');
   $selector->setFields($selectors);
$result = $adGroupAdService->get($selector);
But it is not return Campaign name, Adgroup name, i van get it by calling
particular service since am getting id in current list. Is there any other
easy way to get it? i just want to minimize API hit.

Adwords API sends me wrong Data for Campaign ID

2020-08-07 Thread Poker Face
Hello Support,

I have been calling the SHOPPING PERFORMANCE REPORT from the Adwords API
for a while. All the Data I was obtaining was correct until today. I have
noticed that the API is sending me wrong Data for my Campaign ID.
I can see that because the Campaign ID in my Google Adwords Account do not
match the Campaign ID in the data I get from the API.
Any idea what to do here ?

Sincerely

I need to get data Campaign Id, Budget, Spend, Clicks, Impressions,

Need Campaign Id/Name, Ad Group Id/Name, and Ad in Fewest Calls

2020-04-21 Thread Shannon
I am working on an integration where my primary concern is retrieving
Expanded Text Ads for an account and having our app edit them.
The Ad Services calls are ok, but I need to get Campaign Id/Name and Ad
Group Id/Name when storing them in our system for friendly user display in
our app.

The two methods seem to be:
1. Use the ad service to get all active, serving ads, then make individual
calls to Ad Group and Campaign services to get Names/Id.

2. Use Campaign/Ad group Service to get all Campaigns and Ad Groups (w
Name/Id), then make a call down at Ad Service to get all of the Ads.

Both of these methods seem to result in a ton of calls (2,000+) for a
medium sized account.

Is there a way to JOIN Campaign/Ad Group Id/Names on an Ad service call?

Thank you kindly in advance 

Shannon

Hello Durga Prasad,

The Ad Group Performance report includes all statistics aggregated by default
at the ad group level, one row per ad group. Now since a campaign can have more
than one AdGroup in the AdGroupPerformceReport you might see a campaign
associated to more than one AdGroup. Please elaborate your concern clearly in

2018-02-02 Thread 'Milind Sankeshware (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API Forum
Hi Bhairavi,

The GetKeywords sample uses AdGroupCriterionService
<https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/reference/v201710/AdGroupCriterionService>.

You will be able to get adGroup id from the AdGroupCriterionService.get()
<https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/reference/v201710/AdGroupCriterionService#get>
 API
call. You can then retrieve adGroup name
<https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/reference/v201710/AdGroupService.AdGroup#name>
, campaign id
<https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/reference/v201710/AdGroupService.AdGroup#campaignId>
and campaign name
<https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/reference/v201710/AdGroupService.AdGroup#campaignname>
 using AdGroupService.get()
<https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/reference/v201710/AdGroupService#get>
 by
filtering with the AdGroupId. You will need to specify the fields
<https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/appendix/selectorfields#v201710-AdGroupService>that

you wish to have in your API response in the selector.

Let me know if have any further questions.

Thanks,
Milind, AdWords API Team.

Hi,

For removing data like removing campaigns, you cannot use AWQL as "DELETE"
query is not supported, only the "SELECT" query is supported. You can refer
to this example

 on
how to remove a data particularly a campaign. You can also refer to this

Re: how to get a single campaign with campaign id of course?

2017-12-08 Thread 'Vincent Racaza (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API Forum
Hi,

You can use the CampaignService.get()

 to
retrieve campaigns in your account. If you want to retrieve only a single
campaign, then you can filter by Id

 field
in your selector/query. You can refer to this PHP example

 and
to the query below:

$query = 'SELECT Id, Name, Status WHERE Id = XXX ORDER BY Name';

Let me know if this helps.

Google Adwords showing record for Campaign Id, while API returns nothing

2017-08-15 Thread Bilal Iqbal
Hi, I am using PHP Google Adwords API v201705 for getting Campaigns data
using Ids. I got a situation where I have a CampaignId which on calling
from API returns just an empty array, which on Google Adwords there is a
lot of data against that Campaign Id.

Now, I want to know that what might be the possible reason due to which I
am not getting Campaign data against that Id only, while other Ids returns
data properly.

Yes, you need to retrieve the AdGroupId in a previous request and use these

.

If your extensions have non-zero impressions, you could try using the

How do I get all ad groups with their extensions using campaign id?

2017-03-15 Thread JC Lee
I want to achieve something similar to AdWords UI's* Campaign -> Ad
extensions -> Callout extensions -> Ad group extensions *where a table of
ad groups and their extensions are displayed.

Therefore, I need to get all the ad groups with extensions in an API call.
What's the most efficient way to do this?

AdGroupExtensionSettingService has no campaign id selector.

Must I first get all the ad group ids and use those as the selector? This
would require 2 separate calls one after the other which means it takes
much longer to load.

Re: Get Targeted Locations with geo radius map against campaign ID

2016-12-28 Thread 'Joyce Lava' via AdWords API Forum
Hi Sohair,

Based on your code, you are using LocationCriterionService

 instead
of CampaignCriterionService
.

LocationCriterionService is normally used to get the locationCriterion
constants and not the targeted location of a campaign. From the sample SOAP
request and response I previously sent, I was using
CampaignCriterionService.get

 operation
with criterion as Location

 and Proximity
.

That way, you can get the location and proximity targeting based on
CampaignId
.

You may want to double check the SOAP logs I sent, then let me know if you
encounter any issues after trying that on your end.

Best,
Joyce, AdWords API Team

Re: Get Targeted Locations with geo radius map against campaign ID

2016-12-28 Thread SOHAIR AHMAD
Hi Joyce,

I have tried that sample that worked without campaign ID, i.e, it gives me
results of location names

When I updated my selector with Campaign ID predicate:

selector = {
> :fields => ['CampaignId', 'Id', 'LocationName', 'CanonicalName',
> 'DisplayType',
>   'ParentLocations', 'Reach', 'TargetingStatus'],
>   :predicates => [
>   *{:field => 'CampaignId', :operator => 'EQUALS', :values =>
> ['716319721']},*
> # Location names must match exactly, only EQUALS and IN are
> supported.
>   {:field => 'LocationName',
>:operator => 'IN',
>:values => location_names},
> # Set the locale of the returned location names.
>   {:field => 'Locale', :operator => 'EQUALS', :values => [locale]},
> ]
>   }

It gives me the following ERROR

criteria = location_criterion_srv.get(selector)

*AdwordsApi::V201607::LocationCriterionService::ApiException:
[SelectorError.INVALID_FIELD_NAME @ selector; trigger:'CampaignId',
SelectorError.INVALID_PREDICATE_FIELD_NAME @ selector;
trigger:'CampaignId']*

For the Obvious reason may be as according to
this
https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/reference/v201609/LocationCriterionService.LocationCriterion

we do not have any campaign id field in it or may be I am missing something
?

Hi Will,

Could you confirm if you are using AdWords Scripts or the AdWords API in
generating the reports? I noticed you mentioned that you are able to
download reports using your MCC account, unfortunately, this is currently
not supported in the AdWords API as report generation is supported only at
the client account level.

If you are using AdWords Scripts, you may contact their team through this

Hello Marina,

Yes, you may use Campaign Performance Report
<https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/appendix/reports/campaign-performance-report>
 to
get the campaign id and campaign name from any advertisingChannelType
(video, display, multi channel, search, etc.). Just include the CampaignId
<https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/appendix/reports/campaign-performance-report#campaignid>
, CampaignName
<https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/appendix/reports/campaign-performance-report#campaignname>,

and AdvertisingChannelType
<https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/appendix/reports/campaign-performance-report#advertisingchanneltype>
 fields
in the report selector to output in the report.

Re: Getting current location boost for a location and campaign id.

2016-05-23 Thread 'Shwetha Vastrad (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API Forum
Hello,

You can get the bid modifiers associated with a location using the Campaign
Location Target Report
,
 which
summarizes the performance of campaigns by location-based CampaignCriterion
.

You would need to query for the *BidModifier* field, along with *CampaignId* to
get the bid modifiers associated with a particular location and campaign.

You can also get the bid modifiers using the CampaignCriterionService

 and
query for the bidmodifer

 field
of the campaign criterion.

Regards,
Shwetha, AdWords API Team.

Re: Not able to get Paused Campaign ID & Name for ClientCustomer ID

2015-12-04 Thread Anthony Madrigal
Hey Senthil,

The reason those campaigns are not being returned is because they are video
campaigns. Video campaigns are currently not supported through the AdWords
API services. If you want to get the stats of those campaigns, you can run
either the Campaign Performance Report

 or Video Performance Report

.

Did you include any predicates in your API call? Try to add the predicate

Campaign Id

2014-09-22 Thread testadwords
Hi All,

I am new to the AdWords API and need to get my Campaign Id so that I can
connect with my account but am having difficulties getting hold of it. I
can't find the campaign id anywhere on the AdWords UI (I tried using the
number in the query string with key '__c' but no luck).

How do I get hold of it? One way seems to be to use an AdWordsUser instance
to get all the campaigns they are associated with and then filtering by
name. The problem with this is that I don't know how to set the instance up
correctly; in the examples with the AdWords documentation, they just
instantiate a new instance and leave it at that.

Can anyone help me? If there is more than one way to do this, I would be
very grateful for knowing all of them, as I would like to have a better
understanding of how AdWords works on the whole.

Thanks,
Conor
