“?Concierge__enable_concierge=false”, it there currently a problem with the
developper token ?

2024-04-18 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi,

It seems you have missed our last update regarding this issue.

I would recommend you to add “?Concierge__enable_concierge=false” at the end of
the url to get the developer token input field.

For instance,

https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/rest/reference/rest/v16/customers.campaignAssetSets/mutate?Concierge__enable_concierge=false

Kindly note that it is a temporary workaround, and we will be fixing this soon.

Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to the Google Ads API support team.

After checking the provided logs, I could see that you have encountered the "
DEVELOPER_TOKEN_PARAMETER_MISSING" error. It means that developer-token
parameters are required for all requests. I would suggest you use the
customers.campaignAssetSets.mutate endpoint and try to make a request by
passing the customer ID and developer token. Let us know if you face any issues.

Hi,

Thank you for raising this concern to the Google Ads API support team.

Upon checking, it appears that this is about your basic access token

assistance, we are reaching out to the Google Ads API Compliance team on your
behalf and requesting input.

In addition, have you tried to contact them using the Compliance Support team
form (https://support.google.com/adspolicy/contact/contact_ads_api) on your
end? If so, can you please provide the MCC ID and cases ID generated when you
submitted your application which has a format of #-# so they can
assist you further?

@Compliance Team, please find the pertinent details below and confirm if you
are able to assist.

was already almost 3 weeks with no response until now.

RE: developer token not enabled for reachplanningservice.

2023-06-06 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hello Sai,

Welcome to Google Ads API Support team. Thank you for reaching out to us.

I can see that you have standard access for your developer account. However,
there is a eligibility requirement to use ReachPlanningService. Kindly validate
on your end if you have met each requirement below:

Have a planning tool or user interface that will integrate the API.
Use the API to produce media plans and estimate campaign reach and cost.
Complete a pre-screen assessment as outlined below.
Follow data usage requirements and be willing to undergo periodic data audits.
Sign a data-licensing agreement that legally enforces data usage requirements.
Accept the Google Ads API terms of service.

More of this information can be found on this documentation
https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/docs/reach-forecasting#eligibility.

Should you need further assistance on this, we would recommend to contact your
Google representative for more information.

RE: Developer token. Get amount of available requests\operations.

2023-03-30 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to Google Ads API Support.

There isn't a way to fetch the current number of requests or operations
performed by an account or developer token. If you find that the limit is being
reached, you can apply for Standard Access, which has unlimited mutate
operations, although it is still subject to certain limits.

If it helps, you may refer to this blog post, additional details below say that
using the Google Cloud Console, you can view the list of methods and services
to which your project recently submitted requests.

RE: Developer token

2022-12-14 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi Luiz,

The DEVELOPER_TOKEN_PROHIBITED error may be due to the Google Cloud project,
344961598665, having prior association with another developer token. The
documentation expands on this error:

Warning: Each Google API Console project can be associated with the developer
token from only one manager account. Once you make a Google Ads API request,
the developer token is permanently paired to the Google API Console project. If
switching to a developer token under a new manager account, you'll need to
create a new Google API Console project for Google Ads API requests that use
the new manager's token. If you do not use a new Google API Console project,
you'll get a DEVELOPER_TOKEN_PROHIBITED error when making a request.

Can you confirm if this is a possible scenario? If you suspect this is not the
case, can you please provide your complete request and response logs?

Thanks,

So that I can raise this to the rest of our API support team and to inquire if
it's possible to look up which GCP projects are associated to your developer

When sending this information, you may do so via the Reply privately to author

Hi Peter,
Thank you, list accessible accounts

 didn't
contain our needed MCC account with dev token but we managed to find it
manually.

Now we want to check what GCP projects are paired with this MCC account (or
its dev token) to inform all its users before the rotation.
Is it possible to contact your team 1:1 so we can provide the information
about this MCC for you to check what GCP projects are paired to its token?

RE: Developer Token and Google Console

2022-12-01 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi Illarion,

Thank you for your questions. You may refer to my responses below :

1. Articles on Google Ads API state that "Once a Google Cloud project is used
with a developer token, it is bound to that token and can't be used by
another." (source) and "Once you make a Google Ads API request, the developer
token is permanently paired to the Google API Console project. " (source)

Does it mean that if I reset my developer token (like described here) for the
Ads Manager account that I used to get a developer token then I would not be
able to use the new token (or any other from other accounts) with my current
Google API Console project?

As per this section of the developer token reset guide, it only explicitly
states that the old token can no longer be used. This indicates that the new
token (that belongs still to the same MCC account) can be used with your
existing Google Cloud Project's credentials, and also states that "You can
start using the new developer token immediately.".

2. If I have access to the Google Console project (with all credentials to make
Ads API calls) and a developer token from an Ads account (but don't know which
one exactly) that is currently paired with this Console project - is it
possible to figure out which of the Ads accounts was used to create this
developer token?

It is currently not possible via the API to directly retrieve the MCC account
details where the developer token is associated to. However, via the list
accessible accounts feature, you should be able to retrieve the accounts that
your OAuth2 credentials has direct access to :

The request returns a list of all accounts that you are able to act upon
directly given your current credentials.

>From the results, you can then check if a MCC account is returned and login to
>that account (if you have access), then check its TOOLS & SETTINGS > SETUP >
>API Center to verify if the developer token exists in that MCC account's API
>Center.

Let me know if this helps.

Re: developer token

2022-07-20 Thread ISMAIL TAIBANI

so can we create another Google console API project for test and can use
developer token A again. Our developer token A is already pair with one
Google console API project for production.
so if i m understanding correctly one developer token A can be paired with
two projects without any issue right ?
and this way we can keep our production and stage environment Google
console API project separate using same developer token ?

RE: developer token

2022-07-20 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi Ismail,

Thank you for reaching out to our API support team.

Using the standard access developer token in your testing purposes can help in
avoiding the operational limits you are encountering. However, the Google Cloud
Projects that you used in both developer tokens A and B are already permanently
paired to them respectively.

If you wish to use developer token A (standard access), you will need to create
a new Google Cloud Project and OAuth credentials using a user / email address
that has access to the other MCC, so that you can use credentials and
authenticate without issues on your other MCC's account hierarchy.

As for asking for standard access approval, this also can be considered.
However, do take note that the Compliance Team generally only approves 1
developer token per entity. Since you currently have both a standard access and
basic access developer token, there may be some discussion later on with their
team.

You may opt to reach out to the Compliance Team as well, via this contact form,
for further insights on your developer token options.

Best regards,

Peter Laurence

Re: Developer Token Authentication Questions

2022-06-01 Thread Online Engineering
Dear support team,

Thanks for the response. Our sitation is a bit difficult here since our
partner - the owner of account 456 does not like the idea of granting the
access to our 123 account in either way of access grant or ad account
linkage.

As you might be aware before, using Audience Parter API to creat audience
lists actually does not require actions from either 123 or 456. Instead,
Google may whitelist account 123 so that 123 may use its credentials to
upload audience lists to 456. We understand Audience Partner API and Google
Ads API are different, but we still wonder if Google may whitelist account
123 so that 123 gets suffiicent permission to upload audience lists to 456?

Thanks.

Hi,

We are facing a similar problem with GoogleAds api. We are using the same

GoogleAdwords, it is working perfectly but with GoogleAds, it throws
the DEVELOPER_TOKEN_PROHIBITED error saying that "message: "Developer token

Hi Azfar,

Thank you for reaching out. The developer token could be used for different
Google Console Projects. In contrast, one Google Console Project could only be
paired with one developer token. If you have already established the

not pair it with other developer tokens anymore.

Re: developer token to be used on two google console

2021-03-10 Thread fatima Ajij
Hi Haziq,

It cannot be used for multiple accounts unless you are using manager
account and accessing client account under the hood.

If you are integrating individual client account without manager account,
you would need individual developer token for each account.

If you are integrating google accounts under one manager account, you would
only need one developer token for manager account only.

RE: Developer Token

2021-03-02 Thread Google Ads API Forum Advisor Prod
Hi Juliana,

Thank you for posting your concern.

Please see my answer below for each issue that you've mentioned in your post:

Here at the company I work for, we are having difficulty recovering access to
which the credentials we use are linked
-You may try to check the user account / email address that you probably used
in generating Oauth2 credentials in TOOLS & SETTINGS > Access and security >
Users. Since your concern is about access and Oauth2 credential, then I would
suggest to reach out to Google API Console support team for further assistance
in determining the user who generated the credentials.

We have been using a developer token for a long time that is different from
what appears in the API Center.
How is this possible?
-To clarify, only one approved production developer token can only be used to
the Google Ads accounts under an organization or entity, with this, there
should not have 2 developer tokens. However, so that our team can further
investigate, could you provide the customer ID where the developer token is
generated and the developer token you are using in API request?

Please ensure to provide the requested details via Reply privately to author
option or if this option is greyed out, then please send it to this email
address instead googleadsapi-supp...@google.com.

For a Developer Token to have access to the accounts, does it not necessarily
need to be registered on the same project? Is there a way to recover who owns
this developer token diferenet from the one registered in the API Center?
-Developer token is not used to access accounts. OAuth2 credentials are what is
needed in order to authenticate API requests for accessing/modifying the Google
Ads account. To determine who owns the current developer token you are using,
you may reach out to the Compliance team, via this form, as they should be able
to look up which account it is associated to.

RE: Developer token ownership

2021-01-07 Thread Google Ads API Forum Advisor Prod
Hi Florin,

Thank you for reaching out. It won’t be an issue if the developer token belongs
to a MCC account not owned by you. The developer token(a.k.a. API key) is only
a token used to recognize the user, you could simply imagine it as a
license/authorization to access/consume the API. The detailed request/response
data are pretty safe in terms of privacy. But if you prefer to use another
developer token in a future point of time, you would need to create a new
Google API Console project as the old one was automatically paired to the
previous developer token in your first API call and that relationship could not
be removed.

RE: Developer Token not Approved on testing client account

2020-09-28 Thread Google Ads API Forum Advisor Prod
Hi Hasmer,

Thanks for reaching out. I can see that you are running into issues with your
developer token. If your developer token is only approved for Test Account
Access, you will not be able to make calls against a production account. Can
you provide the customerClientId that you are targeting so that I can confirm
if it is a test account or a production account?

Additionally, I can see that you are running into other errors separate from
your developer token error. Can you confirm if these requests were made to the
same clientCustomerId? Can you please provide the complete detailed logs for
each request? You can enable logging by following this guide for your
respective client library.

Please provide all the requested information via the Reply privately to author
option.

Re: Developer Token not Approved on testing client account

2020-09-28 Thread Hasmer Salubre
Hi,

I am facing the same issue as above.

This are the things that we have done so far:

1. We have submitted an application adding new scope auth/adwords in our
oath screen, this is pending approval.
2. We have successfully get refresh tokens of our developer test token
found on adwords->tools->api center, and it says Access level is Test
Account
3. We have also created a sub account of our manager account.
4. We are able to successfully call the api using below method

$customerServiceClient = $googleAdsClient->getCustomerServiceClient();

$accessibleCustomers=$customerServiceClient->ListAccessibleCustomers();

but no data listing sub accounts

5. When we call the api getting list of campaigns of the manager account we
get this

Request with ID 'dOHTNfeMZLVrDozVeY38yw' has failed.
Google Ads failure details:
authorization_error: The developer token is not approved. Non-approved
developer tokens can only be used with test accounts.

It says for test accounts only, but we are using test accounts.

6. When we call the api getting list of campaigns of the sub account with
the loginCustomerId of the manager account we get this
Request with ID 'RKumElLONz4Hka16ROERGg' has failed.
Google Ads failure details:
authorization_error: The developer token is not approved. Non-approved
developer tokens can only be used with test accounts.

7. When we call the api getting list of campaigns of the sub account
without the loginCustomerId we get this
Request with ID 'F3AH4tnSDAgodKD03q_EGg' has failed.
Google Ads failure details:
authorization_error: User doesn't have permission to access customer. Note:
If you're accessing a client customer, the manager's customer id must be
set in the 'login-customer-id' header. See
https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/docs/concepts/call-structure#login-customer-id

Hoping for any answer please.

Best Regards,
Hasmer

Hi Sarah,

Thank you for reaching out. The access between accounts are based on their
linking and the hierarchy. You could simply use one Developer Token from the
Parent Manager to access the Child Manager accounts and the accounts under them.

Re: Developer token not approved when using test account

2020-01-28 Thread Mihir Chhatre
I am generating the Geo Performance report using the AdWords API. I am
accessing the "City Criteria Id" attribute. The report generated gives me
the ID for different cities but I am unable to find the name of the cities
corresponding to the ID.
I came across this link
https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/appendix/geotargeting, but
the file does not specify city names for the corresponding codes. It only
gives information about different country codes.

Can someone help me with this issue?
Thank you.

Hi Mihir,

Thanks for reaching out to us. Because test and production accounts cannot
interact in any way, you cannot use a test account under your existing
production manager account. To use test accounts, you’ll need a new account
hierarchy, with a test manager account as the root. For more information on
test accounts, please see here. Please let me know if you have any further
questions.

RE: DEVELOPER TOKEN ERROR

2019-10-01 Thread Google Ads API Forum Advisor Prod
Hi,

Thank you for posting your concern.

The QuotaCheckError.DEVELOPER_TOKEN_NOT_APPROVED error occurs when you are
using an unapproved developer token to make calls against a production account.
Upon checking your accounts, it appears that your accounts are production
accounts. That being said, the reason why you are encountering the error is
because you're making calls a production account using Test Account access
level developer token. Please note that if you don't see the red Test account
label on your Google Ads account page, then the account is a production
account. You may also refer to this guide for more details.

To resolve the issue, you would need to apply for Basic access by filling out
the basic access application form.

Please let me know if you have further clarifications.

RE: Developer token transfer

2019-09-23 Thread Google Ads API Forum Advisor Prod
Hi,

The form that you have indicated is the correct one for requests concerning
your developer token and the Compliance team.

As for the implications with the developer token transfer, your requests should
still work as long as you are using the appropriate OAuth2 credentials for the
account IDs you specify in your clientCustomerId property. Any approved (with
basic / standard access level) developer token can be used to make calls on any
Google Ads account, just make sure that the OAuth2 credentials that you use
were generated using an email address which has access to the specific account
in your request.

I hope this helps and feel free to write back if you have any additional
clarifications.

Hi Vinaykumar,

Based on this limits guide, a Google Ads client account can have up to 5 MCCs
managing them. You can first try and link your clients' Google Ads client
accounts into your MCC and then retry your request to have an approved
developer token.

Let me know if this helps or if you encounter any issues.

You may create a test account first by following the Getting started with test

Thanks for posting your concern.

Just what the error message is saying, the DEVELOPER_TOKEN_NOT_APPROVED error
will occur when you are using an unapproved developer token to make API calls
against production account. You can only use the unapproved and test access
developer token to test account in making API calls. If you want to make API

Thank you for contacting support. The DEVELOPER_TOKEN_PROHIBITED error indicates
that in the past, there was at least one request to your Google Ads API using
OAuth credentials from the same project ID with different developer token.
Could you please create a new Google Cloud Project ID, obtain a new OAuth2
credentials from a client under the new project ID, and use those credentials
in your requests with your developer token. If you are still facing issue,
could you please share the MCC Id associated with developer token for me to

RE: developer-token parameter is missing even though I'm passing the token in Google Ads API

2019-05-08 Thread googleadsapi-forumadvisor via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum

Hello Aniruth,

Usually, the access token has certain time limit after that time it will be
invalidated and you have to generate another access token to work with. I
faced the similar error when I pass the expired access token to the API
call.

If you have a refresh token with you, you can generate access token using
that refreshtoken whenever the access token is expired(If you are using our
client libraries they will manages this functionality internally). To
generate access token from refresh token you can use the below sample CURL
operation. If don't have a refresh token you can create new set of
credentials by following this guide
.

Sample Curl operation to generate access token from refresh token:

curl --data ""grant_type=refresh_token""
   --data ""refresh_token=*REFRESH_TOKEN_HERE*""
   --data ""client_id=*CLIENT_ID_HERE*""
   --data ""client_secret=*CLIENT_SECRET_HERE*""

RE: developer-token parameter is missing even though I'm passing the token in Google Ads API

2019-05-07 Thread googleadsapi-forumadvisor via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum

Hello Aniruth,

If you are looking to get the accounts under your manager account you have
to use the resource customer_client

instead. The error message you are seeing will occur when the developer
token is not passed to the API call properly. Since our client libraries
will support the languages mentioned here
 only, I
don't have any Node Js examples. But I can give you the sample CURL
operation that you can perform from your terminal and build you Node Js
code by referring them.

Sample CURL code to get accounts linked to your manager account:

curl -H "Authorization: Bearer *Access_token*"
   -H "developer-token: *DeveloperToken*"
   -H "Content-Type: application/json"
https://googleads.googleapis.com/v1/customers/*MCC_ID*/googleAds:search
   --data '{query: "SELECT customer_client.resource_name,
customer_client.client_customer, customer_client.level,
customer_client.hidden FROM customer_client"}'

Sample CURL operation to get the accessible customers from the OAuth
credentials:

curl -H "Authorization: Bearer *Access_Token*"
   -H "developer-token: *Developer_Token*"
   -H "Content-Type: application/json"
https://googleads.googleapis.com/v1/customers:listAccessibleCustomers

Could you please give it a try and let me know if you have any further
questions.

Sai Teja, Google Ads API Team

I tried making the request in different ways. But I'm unable to figure it
out. Code is in Node JS

V1: GET request

var options = {

url: 'https://googleads.googleapis.com/v1/customers:listAccessibleCustomers',

   auth: {
'bearer': access_token,
'developer-token':'_XX'
 }

};

console.log('Access Token is - ', access_token);

request(options, function(err, response) {
console.log(response);
});

v2: GET request

var bearerToken = 'Bearer '+ access_token;

 var options = {

url: 'https://googleads.googleapis.com/v1/customers:listAccessibleCustomers',

   headers: {
  'Authorization': bearerToken,
  'developer-token': '_XX'
}

};

request(options, function(err, response) {
console.log(response);
 });

Re: Developer token not approved

2018-12-17 Thread 'Bharani Cherukuri (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum
Hello Himanshu,

The DEVELOPER

_TOKEN_NOT_APPROVED

 error
is noticed when they're using an unapproved developer token to make API
calls against Production accounts. An unapproved and test access developer
token can be used to make calls against a test account. In order to use
this test access token to make API calls to Production accounts, you will
need a Basic access which can be applied by submitting this form
. The API Compliance team
will get back with a response within two business days, once the form is
submitted. You can refer to this guide
 about
different access levels and their limits in detail.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Re: Developer Token not Approved on testing client account

2018-10-22 Thread merilytics . vitaminpacks
Hi,

I am facing exactly same problem:

I have followed the same steps as mentioned in the documentation for
setting up the API.

1. Set up production manager account.
2. Set up test manager account.
3. set up test client account.
4. get developer token from production mcc.
5. create oauth credentials in google developers console.
6. get refresh token using test manager account.

When making call to API for getting the test campaigns from the the test
client, I get

AdWordsReportBadRequestError: Type:
QuotaCheckError.DEVELOPER_TOKEN_NOT_APPROVED
Trigger:
Field Path: None.

I see that the same issue is being faced some users. Is there some thing
wrong in the implementation on my side or is it a tech issue on the API
center?

I am using python client library.

The google Adwords API team have yet to update a response.

Hello,

I'm getting the same issue while following this
tutorial.
https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/guides/first-api-call#create_test_accounts
My test account is 505-002-7092
My test MCC account is 756-028-1270
My prod MCC account is 482-920-6970
I confirmed that it is dispalyed as test account on the web console.

I can't start developing my application until this issue is resolved or my
developer token is approved. And it seems the issue has been there for 10+
days. Is there any ETA?

Hi there.

I am pretty sure I am truing to connect test account, not production.

I have Developer token in my MCC with Access level Test Account.

I am getting exact same error when I try to GetCampaigns from test account.

Do you have an idea what am I doing wrong?

Thanks.

Re: Developer Token not Approved on testing client account

2018-10-01 Thread 'Dhanya Sundararaju (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum
Hi Faizan,

The DEVELOPER_TOKEN_NOT_APPROVED

 error
message that you get is because you are trying to access a
Production(Non-test account) with a Test Developer Token. Could you confirm
that you are making API calls against a test account? If yes, could you
reply back with complete SOAP logs with client customer id not redacted.
You may *reply privately to author*.

Regards,
Dhanya, AdWords APi Team

Re: Developer token not approved error when running getcampaigns

2018-06-06 Thread 'Milind Sankeshware (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum
Hi Sean,

The DEVELOPER_TOKEN_NOT_APPROVED

 error
means that you were making a call to production AdWords account using test
access developer token. An unapproved developer token can only make calls
against test AdWords accounts. Also, please check if you have filled out
the second part of the
application form. If not, please fill it out. Once you submit that form,
the AdWords API Compliance team will respond with an answer within a
business day. Let me know if you have further questions.

Thanks,
Milind, AdWords API Team.

Hi Phillip,

Could you provide your MCC Id via *Reply privately to author* option so I
can further check on this?

Re: Developer token cannot be null

2018-02-26 Thread 'Vincent Racaza (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API Forum
Hi KDJ,

Can you confirm if you have set your value correctly for the developer
token field

 in
your property file and still the null error is generated? If so, can you
provide to me your whole SOAP request and response logs via *Reply
privately to author option* so I can further check if indeed the developer
token (with REDACTED value) was added in the SOAP header? If you haven't
enabled the SOAP logs yet, you can enable it by following this guide
.

Thanks,
Vincent
