Re: get all products in a campaign

2024-01-22 Thread Siebert Looije
Hi Ben Karl,

Thanks for coming back to me.
I want to programmatically obtain the list of products which are currently
(as in now) being used in the PMax/shopping campaigns. I don't need to have
any metrics linked to it, but I only want to have the product information
from the products which are currently/now in the Pmax/shopping campaigns.

For me it is very important that it I don't receive the products that were
first in the campaigns and then being removed as well. So I want to capture
if persons are switching products within the pmax/shopping campaigns.
Hopefully this makes sense to you?

Furthermore I also want to have the products which are in campaign
regardless if they have an impression/click, so even if they don't have any
clicks but still active in the campaign, I would like to have them.

Hopefully this is clear.

Kind regards,

Siebert

Re: get all products in a campaign

2024-01-17 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi Siebert,

Thank you for getting back to us.

To get the products available in a campaign, you can use the below query:

Query: "SELECT campaign.id, segments.product_brand, segments.product_item_id,
segments.product_title FROM shopping_performance_view where
campaign.id=''"

Additionally, you may refer to Google Ads Query Builder and Query Validator
documentations to build and validate the queries.

I hope this helps. You can get back to us if you still have any issues/concerns
related to the Google Ads API.

Re: get all products in a campaign

2024-01-16 Thread Siebert Looije
Hi,

Thanks for getting back to me. But how can I get from the API the products
within a campaign which have no metrics? I need to know which products are
currently (so now) in a campaign like is shown on the UI.
The documentation states "exclude zero metrics by segmenting" but I need to
have the segment of products to get the product information.

Or is it not possible from the google ads api to get the products available
in a campaign?

Kind regards,

Siebert

Hi Shwetha,

Thanks for the update. I am marking this as complete as this is not
possible through the adwords API.

Hi Kamran,

Yes, it's not possible to get all products within a campaign using API
reports if they don't have impressions. You can use the data available in
the Product status

 and Products approved

columns
in the UI to get these details. You can also get this data from the
*Products* tab in the AdWords UI.

Shwetha, AdWords API Team.

Re: Get All Products in a campaign

2017-01-27 Thread Kamran Iftikhar
Hi Shwetha,

Thank you very much for the update.

Just to confirm:
So in short there is no way to get ALL the products listed with in a
campaign. we can only get products that had at least one impression during
any time frame searched for through Shopping Performance Report.

Kamran

Re: Get All Products in a campaign

2017-01-27 Thread 'Shwetha Vastrad (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API Forum
Hi Kamran and Avkeren,

I'm afraid the OfferId field doesn't support zero impressions. You can
retrieve the AdGroups and Criteria associated with a campaign using API
services and reports, but I'm afraid you'll need to use the Shopping
Performance Report

 to
get the products in your shopping campaigns.

The OfferId will be the Item Id retrieved from the Merchant Center account.
Even if the AdGroup is subdivided into product groups using other
dimensions, the Shopping Performance Report will have product-level
results. Whereas in the Product Partition Report

 an
impression for a product will be attributed to the row for every product
partition that contains the product.

Regards,
Shwetha, AdWords API Team.

Re: Get All Products in a campaign

2017-01-27 Thread Avkeren Cohen
Hi Shwetha,

Won't the OfferId

 field
give me the product group Item Id.
And only if I subdivided the entire product group by item Id it will then
give me as the OfferId

 the Id of each item?

Hi Shwetha,

Thanks for the quick response, I want to get all the items, even no
impression for those. also even if the campaign is Paused.
My requirement is to get the all the products listed with in a campaign.
I know we can get adgroups, criterion for a campaign using Adwords API,
want to know if this option is also available.

Kamran

Hi Kamran,

You need to use the API to retrieve Shopping Performance Report
,

which provides shopping campaign statistics aggregated at the product (
OfferId

 field)
level. You can filter for products from a particular campaign

 by
using predicates.
