Re: [AFMUG] Fw: OT science Saturday

2019-01-22 Thread Forrest Christian (List Account)
Since Jaime reminded me about this thread

My favorite application for canned Tamales is to dump the can in a pot,
then dump a can of whole kernel corn over the top of that. The juices mix
together making rather flavorful corn and mellows out the tamales as well.

Now if I could just figure out how to make a good quality bean and cheese
burrito filling which was as yummy as a Lynn Wilson frozen burrito. so
far all attempts have been either 'bland' or 'oddly seasoned'. I guess
'not correct texture/consistency' also is common with my attempts. So I
keep buying the frozen ones from the store when I can get them (the non
Lynn Wilson ones are usually crap).

Some website had a picture of what looked like bacon wrapped cream cheese

A lot of the farmers around us do that for their driers/augers. A big

If you have an electrical supply store nearby, they should carry 3" (trade

Re: [AFMUG] Pipe

2019-01-22 Thread Jesse DuPont

A local fencing supply place here has galvanized up to 8" in lengths
up to 20'. It's probably not quite as heavy as what you'd buy from
some place like site solutions, but it's still pretty heavy stuff. I
used their 4" for ice bridge posts and it's been solid.
About a year ago, I had ordered some 4" from a tower company and it
ended up taking a long time so I bought the 4" from the fencing
supply place and it was fine. Price wise, it was comparable after
shipping the other stuff.

Looks informative. Your overhead camera is very blurry in comparison to your
front camera. It might help if you got a big piece of black cloth to put over
top of your wood table. Should help with the camera focusing on the wood grain
instead of the peripherals. A few times your microphone peaked and distorted.

I did like seeing the ePMP 3000 next to a person. It looks huge in comparison
to the rest of their products.

Thanks for making the video!

a video of 450M 3Ghz. installed on a tower on the channel too.

Re: [AFMUG] YouTube and such

2019-01-22 Thread Andy Trimmell
Looks informative. Your overhead camera is very blurry in comparison to your
front camera. It might help if you got a big piece of black cloth to put over
top of your wood table. Should help with the camera focusing on the wood grain
instead of the peripherals. A few times your microphone peaked and distorted.

I did like seeing the ePMP 3000 next to a person. It looks huge in comparison
to the rest of their products.

Thanks for making the video!

I'm a fan and think they're well done. The biggest thing is the audio
is a little low though I haven't seen your latest productions. I'm
interested in the other subjects you listed.
