That reminds me of a local ad for a Cessna 210 1960’s model for $35,000, come
and get it. Still in annual until the spring. I never bothered to even check
it out. Something has to be horribly wrong with this deal. I think it must
have been a scam.

I think the printer at our office maybe belongs here:

http://www.hpmuseum.net/

Actually we also have a Laserjet IV with a token ring interface that we got
from purchasing a dialup company in 2001, it has been sitting under a table
ever since, it’s such a beast I never feel like taking it somewhere for
recycling. You’re welcome to it, if you come and get it.

Little know fact about what I used to do before 2004...
I was a master tec with sharp office products LOL
Sharps were expensive in their own right but built to last.

The first encounter I had was with a copier that had tongs to remove a
paper jam lol

I think it was a model sf-400 0r 300 that was in 1996

Got see the technology move from analog lighting and mirrors to digital
reproduction and some of the

first color copiers/printers to hit the market.

Replaced with a Brother MFC-J5330DW - it does all the
scanning/printing and such but most importantly it is networked.  I
click a button on the scanner and it sends it to an NFS/Samba folder.

I've had problems with every Color laser I've owned, where after a year

Re: [AFMUG] Office Laser Printer

Depends on the features you want.

Just recently I purchased a Canon color full function laser printer.
It was partially dead on arrival so I sent it back via Amazon where I purchased
it.
Super easy to send back.

Then I purchased an HP MFP M281fdw

It's been good.

I have a VoIP fax box I connect to it, and I do scan stuff occasionally on it
too.

For my home I got another older HP color laser printer (printer only) and
purchased replacement cartridges online for it.
I'm not sure I saved any money, it's almost cheaper now days to chuck your
color laser printer in the garbage and buy a new one when the toner runs out...
