My daughter said to me afterwards, 'are there really people inside my head?'

I wanted to tell her she only had anger and disgust but I didn't want to
get yelled at.

I leaned over during the movie and told mine that before I thought she was

I do feel cooler at times when I roll them up. I wonder about the Arabs with

No way. 30 degrees in the sunshine with no wind is a perfect day. You can
unzip and enjoy the day. You can work as hard as you want and not get
overheated. I love winter in Utah.

I lived 9 years in Quincy, Illinois. Heat tolerance was a mental game. 100
degrees with 100% humidity seemed to be a daily occurrence in the summer. You
have to “think cool”.

Re: [AFMUG] Hot..

2015-06-27 Thread Glen Waldrop

I agree.

I also welcome anyone to come to Alabama. My friends that travel talk about
how much more comfortable it is in Nevada and west Texas at 114 than it is
in Alabama at 95.

Long sleeves are a bad idea here. The humidity is high, you don't get the
same effect from sweating as you do in other areas (I know this because the
humidity isn't always soup in Alabama). On the humid days (300 out of the
year, lol) you need the air wicking away the sweat to draw heat from you.

At least here you know you sweat. That is one thing my friends have
mentioned about going west. You don't even realize how much you sweat there
because it all evaporates quickly. They got dehydrated, snuck up on them.
Here, you're out in the heat, you're soaking wet. You know you need to
drink.

Faisal expertly found the error in my config
and everything is up and running correctly now.

Love it when you look at something so long you miss
the obvious, simple part of tagging the vlan port on
the switch you are passing through.

Again, sincere thanks to all.

I agree with this.

In cold weather you put on some nice down or poly pro. You adjust your
clothing for working or standing. Colder? Put on more layers.

In hot weather you take off layers until you are nude... and in a jail
cell... And you are STILL hot!!

I've been to Salt Lake City in the summer. It was nice. I've also been
to Demopolis during the summer and you guys have some serious humidity.

Glen Waldrop wrote:

I agree.

I also welcome anyone to come to Alabama. My friends that travel talk
about how much more comfortable it is in Nevada and west Texas at 114
than it is in Alabama at 95.

Long sleeves are a bad idea here. The humidity is high, you don't get
the same effect from sweating as you do in other areas (I know this
because the humidity isn't always soup in Alabama). On the humid days
(300 out of the year, lol) you need the air wicking away the sweat to
draw heat from you.

At least here you know you sweat. That is one thing my friends have
mentioned about going west. You don't even realize how much you sweat
there because it all evaporates quickly. They got dehydrated, snuck up
on them. Here, you're out in the heat, you're soaking wet. You know
you need to drink.
