You wanna make sure to get the MS-2000/2002/2006 and not the 100X series. The 200X has a pre-amp. The specs don’t show any gain. Probably pretty close to zero. They do show the UHF going clear up to 810 MHz. I don’t think there has been much TV above approx 600 MHz for quite some time. Re: [AFMUG] OT: HDTV Omni recommendations
If they're all different channels you could use diplexers to combine the channels onto one cablenot sure how that compares to the cost of a switch, but you wouldn't have to push buttons to switch antennas. Re: [AFMUG] OT: HDTV Omni recommendations
Yeah, I had thought of doing two antennas with a reversed splitter. I might try one of the circular jobbies. Just getting the antenna outside will probably make a world of difference. You can always combine multiple antennas by using a splitter backwards. If the signals are weak you will want a dedicated UHF antenna with some gain and a pre-amp. Sometimes you find super strong channels mixed with weak channels all coming from the same site. That can be a problem. -Original Message- From: Bruce Robertson Sent: Wednesday, May 20, 2015 3:48 PM To: af@afmug.com Subject: [AFMUG] OT: HDTV Omni recommendations Hey, all you antenna geeks. Depends on signal strength.
