Yeah, that's the way to go. I got quoted around $250-$300 to replace the alternator in my E250 - went to Autozone and had it done in less than an hour for the price of parts. No...I did have plenty of room...not like my Suburban or other 1500 I had but with 350.those were allot harder. Pep Boys quoted me 275.00 and all day wait time...
