The higher the temp, the lower the voltage.
At 120 F it would be about 13 volts.
At –20F it would need to be about 15 volts.

Easier to overcharge when hot. Harder to fully charge when cold.
Sucks for electric cars.

It adjusts float voltage according to temp.

That’s use Alpha UPS rated for outdoor, even in climate controlled cabinets.

The batteries should be fine though, if they are sealed AGM?

All of my batteries lie underneath the cabinets in the non-climate controlled
part and have a temperature gauge connected to the Alpha so it adjusts
something according to temperature of the batteries.

A very rural POP, not managed by us, had an A/C trip the breaker. That's 122
deg Fahrenheit.

A router there shows 64 deg C... I'm afraid of what is happening to those
batteries.

64C input temperature, 64C internal temperature or exhaust temperature?
Depending where the diode is on the router PCB...

Colin,

We had the same thing on Wednesday. Luckily I have an alarm set at
100F for our UPS. Alarms went off and I headed that way ASAP. Our
batteries usually run about 90F.

Same exact thing happened to us the other day. Except the APC UPS went
into error F07 high temp shutdown. Argh!
