I am just wondering whats the best way to mount wireless gear onto grain
leg? Use clamps or drill into the railing or what?

If it’s angle iron I like using beam clamps and conduit hangers.  Of course, 
this depends on the stuff you are mounting.  Will dig up some photos and send

You just need to get yourself a thick piece of steel pipe or conduit. 
You can mount it to the railing with the M-TOWs.


The last one we did was with a couple of M-TOW-V clamps and a 4" OD 
pipe. We used some sturdy u-bolts to attach the M-TOW to the rail and 
then the pipe mounted inside the M-TOW.

My preferred method as of late is to use pipe-to-pipe clamps along the
lines of the M-TOW-A, and just attach a pipe to each corner of the railing
- which should work fine on a grain leg like in that picture, but it really
depends... on some grain legs you have to get creative to make things work.
