Don't ever reply to such emails.
It is a scam, & don't know how it came to our list.

Re: [Ai] For software developers - creating custom accessible CAPTCHA

Hi

I am not from software development background, but I feel that you can
check this website
ssconline.nic.in
it seems that the developer of this website has done something for
solving captchas. According to my understanding, Alok's approach is
similar to the one adopted by this one.

Re: [Ai] Blindness:govt adopts world health organization norms, redefines what blindness is -

2017-04-20 Thread Lyngdoh via AI
Hi

With regards to the news, I would like to know how will the government
strip off the disability certificates held by those who are legally
blind till then, I mean those who fall in the bracket of 3 to 6 meters
vision.
& in the process of application of new certificates, how strict will
the hospitals be to ensure that people who have more than 3 meters
vision do not claim to be having less than the required mark.
Till now, I am still very confused with the percentage of visually
impaired persons who say that they are 100% blind while they can still
see colours, differentiate between light and darkness, identify
something which is in front of them, etc.,
As for my understanding, 100% visually impaired means those who have
completely loss vision with nothing at all; e.g., I can say that I am
100% blind because I can no longer see anything. So, while walking on
the road or wherever I am, unless and until my cane hits anything on
my side or in front of me, I won't know (excluding those things which
produce sounds like vehicles, etc.).
Or if I am in my room, whenever I need to know whether the lights are
switched off or on, I won't know either unless and until I feel the
position of the switches on the switch board or maybe by checking
whether my electronic devices like mobile and laptop are charging when
plugged in.
