to work on disk directly. Any solution?

It is easy to encrypt full HDD. In ubuntu LUKS encryption may be used.
For Windows, lot of software in web, http://www.truecrypt.org/downloads is
one.
I don't want to use any 3rd party software, I want small piece of code to
encrypt boot sector (1st 512 bytes) only.

genuine/false e-mail addresses to prove people r sending it. 2)  some cert.
of getting prize money (if s'one get, why they stop it !!). U may consider
to add a consultation fee or authentication process to make it more
attractive.
For all. Is it possible to delete in-line attachment. Our mail become too
big with forwarded msg.s.

[ Ubuntu-BD ] Replica of website.

 Dear friends,

Now in Bangladesh, at least in my office, most bandwidth of corporate
internet connection is used for Dhaka Stock Exchange. We have a LAN of 150
PC's. We have a Linux based server and squid as proxy. Server has internet
connection. All network users are connected with internet through proxy. I
examined with sarg utility software that 80% activities are www.dsebd.org.
Home page and scrolling bar (price) of dsebd.org updates frequently and
cache of proxy can't reduce load of download (refresh) pages. Each pc
refreshes separately and direct from dsebd.

It is possible to copy a website by HTtrack and view it offline. But I want
to keep a copy of dsebd in a location (server), which will be updated
continuously through internet and my users will get update from this
replica, instead of original dsebd. This will reduce load on bandwidth.

Is it possible?

Thanks Mr Omi, I setup unijoy with help of your excellent website. Its
really helpful.

I installed both windows and ubuntu in two separate partition of a laptop.
Its nice to see that, ubuntu can access Windows XP NTFS and FAT partition
and can open files. But windows cannot access ubuntu partition (ext3). Also
Open Office can open Excel, PPT and Word files (though macros not working
properly), and easy to edit or print. I surprised that ubuntu can work in
windows network easily and can share printer/files in windows PC. This is
not so user friendly in RedHat.

In office environment SutonnyMJ is the most popular font. I know about
AvroConverter but it is not up to the mark and also works in windows env.
only.
I want to open a doc file with SutunnyMJ font directly in ubuntu-open office.
Is it possible? This is important to make ubuntu familiar in business work.

Thanks Mr Foisal for yr comment on piracy issue, about on-call maintenance
service. I think a group of competent people can form a company for such
professional service on payment.

govt. office and used to receive docs in bangla in SotunnyMJ font. We have
to edit them for further use. Now there are Windows based bangla like
lekhani, which can convert bangla in bijoy to lekhani's own font.

I want an interface which can convert windows/bijoy bangla to linux shrabani
or else. So that I can work on the docs without retyping but may be only by
re-arranging the text.
