Normally the default color of inactive tab sheets should be white in this skin, but OOo seems to override it and put it all times _black_ which results in not readable text. See attached screenshot. I already asked the developer of the XP Skin about this problem and he told me that the app overrides it instead of using the default color assigned by the skin. The problem exists on 32bit Windows XP Pro, too. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. The weird thing here is that kpdf does show pdf files generated from other programs in the normal way (as Adobe does), so it doesn't seem to be a bug in kpdf. With KWord I can't save in SXW format because of a bug in KWord export filter, so I'm using RTF to save the documents I'm working on and then saving them in OpenOffice format with NeoO/J. The problem is that ordered lists are seen like a single continuing list. That is, adding more than an ordered list with paragraphs between them is loaded as it was a single list which continues ordering from the last number of the previous list. I'm going to attach a testcase (both the original KWord document and the RTF saved). Originally I thought it was a bug in KWord filter, but the RTF is loaded correctly on MS Word, AppleWorks 6 and also KWord itself. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. Issue reports without clear description are not very helpful. Please attach sample document screenshot. Most likely this is not a bug in OOo and not a bug in kpdf. It probably is a bug in ghostscript that in turn is used by kpdf to display the pdf. And your conclusion it shows other files ad Acrobat does thus it is not the fault of kpdf is not valid either. If Adobe Acrobat Reader can show the PDF correctly and kpdf doesn't - what does this tell you? [sw-issues] [Issue 51215] New - Space Before not z eroized after explicit page break
To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=51215 Issue #:|51215 Summary:|Space Before not zeroized after explicit page break Component:|Word processor Version:|OOo 2.0 Beta Platform:|PC URL:| OS/Version:|Windows XP Status:|UNCONFIRMED Status whiteboard:| Keywords:| Resolution:| Issue type:|DEFECT Priority:|P3 Subcomponent:|formatting Assigned to:|mru Reported by:|stefekz --- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sat Jun 25 13:29:44 -0700 2005 --- When a paragraph style declares a non-zero space before value, as for instance the built-in Heading 2 style does, that space is supposed to be suppressed when a paragraph with that style occurs as the first paragraph on a new page. This is very useful behaviour, full of Goodness: LaTeX-like, enoucrages separation of content from presentation, preserves smooth flow, ... This happens correctly when the pagebreak is 'automatic', i.e. 'internally' generated by Writer as it notes that there wouldn't be enough room for the Heading and enough Kept-Together lines of the subsequent para. However, it does *not* happen after an explicit pagebreak, inserted from the 'Insert... Manual Break' menu. This issue may be related to issues 43450, 44520, 45835, and 36916; but I don't think it's a strict duplicate. I've entered it as a PC-Windows XP issue since that's the platform I've come across it on; I'm running the most up-to-date beta, 1.9.109. I suppose the (absolute) values are summed up (as in stacked mode). This renders the result useless. In the example (see URL) there are two objects with identical values (G and G') which does not show at all in the diagram. What I expect from the diagram is the following scaling: 0% represents the minimal value in the data, 100% the maximal value. Consequently, two objects having the same value for an attribute will be displayed at the same place on the corresponding axis. When I save a text document by save as.. in file menu, even wich out any modification, the images in the document I'm viewing disapear and are substituted by a plug icon which object 1 writed in the botton (I'm attaching a image). But if I open the .odt document I save the image is there, in this case the problem is only wich the one that I'm viewing. When I save in .sxw and open wich OO.org 1.1.4 the figure is diferent and in the botton is writed SvOutPlacedObject (the other image). This archieve is also far small than the .doc or the .odt (513.9 KB in sxw vs 899 KB in odt and 1.19 MB in original .doc) By the way, this problem don't occur in 1.1.4 version. It saves in .sxw perfectly and after that the image still in my screen and file. The file size is also normal: 988.4 KB. The original .doc document was created in a MS Word 2003 but the image was inserted in a MS Word 97. Until now I can't reproduce this error with another file, only in this file or his derivates generated by OO.org 2.0. Using the .sxw file generated by 1.1.4 this problem don't apear. I'm don't know if it is a compatibility problem or a viewing problem. The two import the .doc document in diferents shapes as I will report in another bug (some text is in a page in 2.0 and in another in 1.1). The .odt file saved from the 1.1 .sxw file is far bigger than the direct convert .odt (1.488,8 vs 0.899,0 KB) I have some GB of free space in HD and more than 64mb of free ram (~100mb) when saving. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=51227 Issue #:|51227 Summary:|After leaving the API and the components focus, |component library initialization fails Component:|api Version:|680m110 Platform:|PC URL:| OS/Version:|Windows XP Status:|UNCONFIRMED Status whiteboard:| Keywords:| Resolution:| Issue type:|DEFECT Priority:|P3 Subcomponent:|code Assigned to:|sw Reported by:|marinus --- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sat Jun 25 21:10:12 -0700 2005 --- Sirs, when moving out of the API focus, i.e. clicking outside of the editor, AND leaving the focus of the main component the main components library initialization fails. This is appareant when trying to assign a macro to a button in a dialog upon returning to the API. This fails, as only the main OpenOffice.org libraries are initialized. Trying to assign a macro in the components library is not possible until refocusing the components window or re-compiling the components library. It is my opinion, if this is intended behaviour, that focussing upon the loaded library should be forced if the API is in focus. Otherwise, a user is left to wonder where his macros went. Ofcourse, it's easy to refocus the main component but it doesn't seem logical or user friendly. Sincerely, Marinus. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
