I see no problem using m217 with either bug document (h1 or bugreport) when exporting to PDF. I have not tested any other recent milestones, so I can't say this is the first one that works. Testing h1.odt with OOo 2.2.1 on my system no longer shows the problem, but Fedora 7 includes TrueType versions of the Luxi fonts, and these are used by OOo. 2.2.1 definitely shows the spacing errors with bugreport.odt - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. Simply copy the module and use it as a model for interfacing to the MacOSX daemon. The interface is what you would expect. It can register itself (so that users can enable or disable that spellchecker), it gets called with a Unicode word and is asked to either spellcheck it or make a suggestion, etc. There really isn't much to the interface, all of the real work is done by the spellchecker itself. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. It's unknown if OpenOffice 2.1 was the problem but A reboot was necessary. After rebooting, and trying to open up Writer--the RECOVERY window appears. If I click on RECOVERY it just hangs up (wait > 10 minutes). If I click on CANCEL it just hangs up (also waited > 10 mins with no response). I tried the repair WRITER option. DThat had no affect (still opens up RECOVERY mode and freezes). I then uninstalled ALL of OpenOffice 2.1 and reinstalled after a reboot. Same problem. Can't use Writer at all now as it's stuck in a RECOVERY mode when I try to start the program. So I uninstalled the program again. And this time I deleted every OpenOffice entry in the registry and all OpenOffice files on the hard drive. And then reinstalled OpenOffice. Nope, same problem. When I try to start Writer it keeps trying to recover that damn document and hangs up when you select RECOVERY or CANCEL. Apparently the only way I'm every going to be able to use OpenOffice again is to do a complete reinstall of my entire hard drive and all applications (possibly from an Acronis Image). This kinds of sucks. What the heck is making it try to recover a document even after I delete everything and reinstall the application? That is crazy. And so is the requirement to go into RECOVERY mode -- it should be optional -- not mandatory because it's freezing up the applications totally. Right now no choice but to go back to Microsoft Office. Christian Lohmaier kindly explained to me the situation : > But (perhaps I'm missing something), does it exist any way to obtain the > mailinglist-ID for a given message? or shoud I find it by tries and errors? One that was delivered to you: Yes, there is a Return-Path header like this: Return-Path: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Where the 17945 would be the mailinglist-ID of that message. Unfortunately, this header is not added to the web-archive on the ooo site, and most other web-archives strip many headers as well. (And getting the mail again, when you still have access to it is pretty pointless) So the only way to get it is via the index unfortunately :-( -- I think that this should be fixed, making the "ezmlm-msg-ID" available in the web interface of the archive - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. I confirm that the example is incomplete, as it only notify changes occured after a cell validation (ENTER typed), whereas data modification (which is my interest) can also occur after a Copy/Paste, or a fill series (i will stop at these actions)... If someone has an idea for resolving this, could he put a supplement to this example? I took advantage of this successful test by setting the target milestone to 2.3. I think it's a great enhancement for those interested in using calc as an editor in their application. And it doesn't slow down Calc... In detail: Open Database Sources View (F4). Navigate to an existing Table (created with Base, filled with data). Drag and Drop a Field into a cell in Calc. The window "Text import" (I guess, I have the german version where it is called "Textimport") appears. The window does not react to any Mouse input. The workaround I found is to right-click the Taskbar Entry of OpenOffice, after which the Import-Window works just fine. This doesn't seem to be a big problem, but if dozens of lines of text need to be imported, this gets really annoying. :-) Thanks for addressing this. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. I don't want to make an autofilter from a single cell. This is a non sense. Let me explain in a different way: When autofilter is active: - a mark is added on the menu item - an additional autofilter on a different area is not possible But: - In MS Excel, the flag is always on REGARDLESS where is the currently selected cell in the sheet (I mean inside or outside the autofilter area). - In Calc, the flag in the menu is on ONLY IF the currently selected cell in the sheet is INSIDE the the autofilter area. So if I want to switch off the autofilter: - In Excel I just click on the menu item regardless the selected cell - In Calc, first I have to select a cell INSIDE the autofilter area and then I can click on the menu item. If I forget to select a cell in the autfilter area before clicking on the menu item, an error message window popups reporting I cannot have two autofilter in the same sheet. The Excel is for sure more intuitive and correct. Please let me know if the issue is still not clear. Gualtiero - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. The functionality is disabled for other calls, see ScTable::SearchCell() where it is also used to convert a "\t" string to the tab character, but a "\\t" should result in "\t". This has several usability and privacy impacts: - Confirmation mail is lost if envelope from is not replyable or not read. - Confirmation mail can get lost if looked for in the wrong spam filter file. - Confirmation mail can get lost if sender is on the wrong whitelist. - Confirmation mail can be delivered to the wrong person. In order to avoid to be unable to unsubscribe at all, users must use the - more complicated - syntax [EMAIL PROTECTED] when using an email address different from the sender or envelope from. This is likely to be too much for the average user on a "users" mailing list. Thus, the header from should be used for subscribing to a list. Confirmation mails should be sent to the header from, not the envelope from or sender. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. [sw-issues] [Issue 75937] PDF export incorrect with some fonts/characters

I can try running through fontforge to see if it will "heal" this font as well ;-) Someone should probably report this to the Liberation font developers as well--naglep? bugzilla.redhat.com is the place (I guess). - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. [sw-issues] [Issue 78820] AutoSpellcheck setting not saved

The problem came with version 2.1. I've tried to unsinstall / reinstall 2.2.1 several times, at home and at work, and the problem - exactly the same - remains. I've told about "Linguistic.xcu" file, which could be a lead to investigate. If no solution is found, I'll have to go back to version 2.0... - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
