To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=67413 --- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sun Jul 1 20:36:39 + 2007 --- I have been having a similar problem since upgrading to 2.2 (I'm guessing at which upgrade this start with but please note that the problem did not occur in prior versions to whichever one it actually was). I have been using OOo since it was only available as StarOffice and this is new recent behavior. Running Windows XP Home Edition, Version 2002, SP 2 and using Windows Explorer (or xplorer^2, which I much prefer), when I double click on any file with an OOo-associated suffix, OOo opens and gets focus. If I open another such file, another OOo window opens up and gets focus. But if I close the open file without closing OOo, and double-click the other file with an OOo-associated suffix, the file gets loaded, but OOo does not get the focus. Since the latter is the way I normally operate, it's become a minor pain to use OOo. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. They are unrelated, I'm sure. To start with, I'm using an HP Pavilion a736n Desktop PC (product # PP149AA). The processor is an AMD Athlon64 3200+; 992Mb RAM are available after the display share is deducted. The most relevant item is probably: O/S: Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition w/Service Pack: 2.0; the OS is set to automatic updates, so it should be current. A search on the first major issue produced no discernible hit. It is this: Hyperlinks in cells of OOcalc suddenly were broken. The links that were broken were all internal links, ie. to files on HD. None of the links to websites were affected. I try to write clear, reasonably concise prose, so I suggest reading the fuller account on the thread I have created: http://www.oooforum.org/forum/viewtopic.phtml?p=232400#232400 I admit I'm less than fluent with spreadsheets, but I don't think this should have happened. The second serious issue cropped up today. I was posting on a forum BB and when I hit the button, I ended up in the login page. This happened twice in different BBs (the seceond was the above). It may be a time-out issue. But who would write time-out code for anything but the most egregious time lenght? The link above covers that topic also. I think it's serious. I didn't search to see if that one has been reported, but something as serious as that should have been fixed by now, I think.
