If a modification in tg_def.mk is implemented, the modifications in cppuhelper are not needed. Locally I have already completed it. [framework-issues] [Issue 80100] .jar file for extension no longer in CLASSPATH
To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=80100 --- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sat Aug 25 22:38:13 + 2007 --- mux2005, my software LanguageTool is also a victim of this bug. Could you describe your classloader workaround in more detail? The code that worked for OOo 2.2 is this: InputStream is = this.getClass().getResourceAsStream("/de/rules/grammar.xml") i.e. "/de/rules/grammar.xml" is a file in the JAR and I have to load it this way because I don't know where my extension is installed. With OOo 2.3 I get back null. I now tried this but it fails: Class cl = Class.forName("de.danielnaber.languagetool.FakeClass", true, mycl); is = cl.getResourceAsStream("/de/rules/grammar.xml"); "mycl" is an instance of the WollMuxClassLoader you suggested to use, but the InputStream I get back is still always null. There is also another problem with edit fields (not only in chart, but everywhere) that you can only insert special characters of the UI font, not of the font in which the title will later be displayed. So, insert the title first, change the font to the one you want to use, add special characters then via the UI edit mode (double-click on the title instead of using the Insert/Title dialog). - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. There is a clear bug - two parts of OOo use different naming schemes for Basic and document names. So the code that compares what it thinks is the correct name of the current document with what the Scripting Framework thinks is the correct name of the found document basics must fail. The only fix possible is to make both sides use the same naming scheme. What the heck is unintuitive in doing so? For me this is the most thoughtless comment I read for a long time. But it looks as it at least doesn't damage anything. (SCNR) - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=64572 --- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sat Aug 25 19:58:30 + 2007 --- The previous patch solves another corner case for targets without recipes but with an existing file associated. Committed. Dmake now has the following behavior: * Target has recipe lines * No file after making it -> Use current time * File exists after making it -> Use file time * Target has no recipe lines * No file after making it -> Use time of newest prerequisite * File exists after making it -> Use the newest time of either the file time stamp or the time of the newest prerequisite The last case is there to prevent stale files from breaking the dependency chain but still allowing to use a virtual target (without recipe lines) to force the build of a target if the time stamp is newer than the target that depends on it. Enter some cyrillic letters. After the letter, insert a combining grave accent (U+0x0300) via "Insert - Special Character...". With some letters the combining goes as expected. With other letters the "original" letter gets replaced by a modified (accented) letter. However, the original letter is not deleted off the screen, and the modified letter is offset to the right. This happens with letters U+0x0415 (Cyrillic capital letter Ie) and U+0x0418 (Cyrillic capital letter I) and the corresponding small letters. The reason is that Tahoma includes the glyphs U+0x0400 (Cyrillic capital letter Ie with grave) and U+0x040D (Cyrillic capital letter I with grave), so OOw decides to change the combined symbols into one, presumably the same symbol. This does not happen with other "original" cyrillic letters, because there are no corresponding accented single glyphs in the font. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. The situation is as follows: - given a spreadsheet with 3 sheets, - having content on each sheet, - print preview will show 3 pages. - Print dialog will offer pages 1-3 as page range - in print dialog enable "pages" - define page 3 to be printed result: an empty page will be printed Expegted behaviour is, that either - the thrid page is printed (ignoring "selected sheets only" setting) or - print preview and print dialog show only the pages that would really be printed (one page, that maps to the selected sheet in this case) andreschnabel->oc: please have a look, how to proceed (if it is better to file a new issue, as this one is already bloated) - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. However I'm not sure whether that will be enough for everyone - I agree that with letter/A4 pages you wouldn't stack them vertically except on the highest res monitors (I guess it is doable on those lovely 30"ers that are around); however what about someone working at A5 e.g. on pamphlet or smaller (e.g. a CD insert) - to them being able to work across multiple pages might be more important than for the normal A4 user. As for the issue of how to display a right facing page without a corresponding left partner; perhaps this could be indicated by a box behind the page rendering spanning paired pages? - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. I haven't measured exactly the time but on a Sempron 3500+ (Keene), 1 GB of RAM, running Windows Vista, OOG680_m2 needs ~100 seconds for loading. On the same machine, running Linux Mint 3.0 (based on Ubuntu 7.04, kernel 2.6.20) and OOo 2.2 it takes approximately the same time. On a Duron 700, 1 GB of RAM, running Windows XP SP1, OOo 2.2 crashes at loading with a Visual C++ runtime error. On a K6-2 400, 320 MB of RAM, running Windows XP SP1, OOo 2.2 while loading starts to allocate more virtual memory (default page file: 320 MB) and later it it crashes. Neither of the machines has any problem opening the file with Powerpoint 2000 and even the K6-2 loads the file in a few seconds. cgu, can you try to reproduce it? - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. When I have typed a couple of words, I want to review the line, but the command for reading the current line does not always give the desired result. Then you get the chosen font. As far as I know, it is not possible to mix fonts in such fields. If a character is available in Unicode, you should use it. What you will get, if you use a character of the private area U+E000 to U+F8FF, depends on the font. Using 'private' characters will always lead to problems, when documents are moved to a machine where that special font is not available. How to do so? There is one hint to put soft hyphens in a word. If I put several soft hyphens, OO uses the last possible. BUT: if I dont want po- lyphon but poly- phon (or polyphon) I don't know how to achieve this. Resolutions could be: 1. From visual appearance you wouldn't guess it is non-modal. Moreover you can work with every non-modal window as with modal window, right? So [ok] fits there perfectly, for example, for obvious scenarios -- inserting hyperlinks :-) 1) click on [insert hyperlink] 2) click on [internet] (for example) 3) enter URL 4) enter label 5) OK -- but this piece is missing What could be simpler and more intuitive? And one more thing -- after spotting this dialog is non-modal (I didn't, you told me) there is still no harm having [ok] button. Please do not focus on technical details, but on tasks users perform and provide the most easy, the most convenient way to do them. Users are not interested in implementation, but capabilities. BUT: if I dont want po- lyphon but poly- phon (or polyphon) I don't know how to achieve this. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
