To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=81252 --- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Sep 5 05:27:42 + 2007 --- Hrmpf, thank you Microsoft! Shell recipes are executed by dmake with a command that is created like this: $(SHELL) $(SHELLFLAGS) $(expanded_recipe_command) For the given example this is: cmd.exe /C "C:\Temp\hello.exe" "arg" Now, open a new cmd and try it. :( This follows this rule: > 2. Otherwise, old behavior is to see if the first character is a quote > character and if so, strip the leading character and remove the last quote > character on the command line, preserving any text after the last quote > character. Adding extra quotes would solve this: $(SHELL) $(SHELLFLAGS) "$(expanded_recipe_command)" but this would only be correct for cmd.exe, for any other shell this might create additional problems. (Your problematic example works fine with bash) How about a new speial macro, say SHELLADDQUOTE (and also GROUPSHELLQUOTE), that adds the quotes if set to yes? - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. I used the same data from a spread sheet with over 100 names and addresses. All files were OOo file formats. After the merge, I saved the merged document as a single, multi-page file. However, the paragraph properties of the first paragraph of every page had a check mark in the block to insert a blank page in front of it. So my 100 page merge contained 199 pages and the print preview showed that every other page was a blank page. I found no easy way to remove the paragraph formating except to edit the first paragraph of each page individually. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. [tools-issues] [Issue 74007] stripping ./ from targets modifies $@
To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=74007 --- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Sep 5 02:08:28 + 2007 --- I admit OOODMAKEMODE is a cludge, it's just to work around a problem in the makefiles that need the leading ./ . It "breaks" the normalizing of the internal representation of targets. Unfortunately dmake just processes the commandline arguments in the order of appearance, so that the macro definition of OOODMAKEMODE has to happen before the target is created, and the target is created once it appears on the commandline. It might be possible to save the list of targets mentioned on the commandline and process them after startup.mk is read. Is it worth the effort? I would vote for putting in the environment, that is a one line patch for config_office and probably equally easy for the Hamburg environment. This would remind us of this problem, and maybe we can get of it at one point by using $(SOMEVAR:n) or $(normpath ..). - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. I have two possible scenarios for this, first there is some goofy filesystem translation going on, that creates .txt extensions for "text files". Yes, I know, far fetched, but easy to test. Just see what $ cat unxmacxp.pro/misc/readme_en-US.html.txt says. ( It should be "No such file or directory", but who knows. ) The more realistic scenario is a problem with directory caching. Can you try if switching off dmakes directory caching, by setting .DIRCACHE=no. It is set in solenv/inc/startup/startup.mk. I am actually wondering if this is a general problem (except on W32) or if this is specific to MacOSX. I use a German WinXP Home and German SOP8. I will write the German WinXP Terms, because I don't know the English ones. Steps: (1) Start StarOffice Base (2) Choose "Connect to an existing database" and then in the list ODBC. Next (3) Click on "Browse" (4) Click on "Organize" You should now be inside Microsoft "ODBC-Datenquellen-Administrator", a dialog with the tabs "Benutzer-DSN", "System-DSN", "Datei-DSN", "Treiber", "Ablaufverfolgung", "Verbindungs-Pooling", and "Info". But if you use StarOffice this dialog will be immediately hidden by the window "Neue Datenquelle erstellen", which you normally get if you click on "Hinzufügen" on one of the DNS-tabs. Now all is broken. You cannot close or cancel the dialog, trying that lead to entire wrong state. You must kill all with task manager. The same works without problem in OpenOffice, and using the Microsoft "ODBC-Datenquellen-Administrator" via Systemsteuerung > Verwalten > Datenquellen (ODBC) works without Problems too. Therefore it is a StarOffice problem. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. This window (adjustable but really only need ~4 or so lines displayed at a time) shows ALL formating codes and can be directly edited. Is there any intention of developing this property for the word processor component? It is exceptionally useful for editing problem text. And when displayed, specific codes are searchable (eg, Hard Return vs Soft Return). - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. There's nothing wrong with the file system dialog integration, the bug is that the proposed file name for the PDF still contains the "ods" extension. If instead "save as" is used, only the file name without extension is shown and so the bug does not appear. So I forward this issue to mav who is responsible for the code that places the proposed file name into the dialog. "Export" should do the same as "SaveAs" wrt. the extension. [graphics-issues] [Issue 81260] multiselection in the data range
To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=81260 --- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Sep 4 14:54:12 + 2007 --- Er, do I understand that correctly, when "the dialog appears again", that you would have to press on the shrink button or press return for every simple range you choose? I don't know if that is a good idea. Probably, we should wait if we find a solution for Issue 71812, where we can just choose another range with the mouse. Note that you have to enter the ";" manually even in Excel to concatenate ranges. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
