It used to work just fine in Russian (so-called Infra) OpenOffice.org 3.0.0. I install the extensions from GUI (I didn't knew unopkg was available on Windows, too). However, during the development of extension, OOo 3.0.1 was released and extension installation broke up again. Installation process went without errors, the toolbar button in Writer was added successfully. But, the script itself seems not to be copied/registered to the library, so pressing the button produces the following error message: Cannot resolve script location for script = FreshEye.js The branch OOodev- Macros has a node FreshEye_1.0.oxt but the node is empty - it doesn't expand, it has no macros (Macro name field is empty). Then, I've used latest update of Extension Compiler with latest OOo310m5 build for Windows. No luck, the same message - so I don't think the issue is solved in 3.1 branch, yet :-( Then I've tried to install with unopkg and this time it worked fine with OOO310m5. Reinstalled back Russian OOo 3.0.1. unopkg works, yet the same Cannot resolve script location for script = FreshEye.js error is produced with toolbar button was pressed! It worked only when installed with unopkg and then disable-enable workaround in GUI extension manager (thanks to bmarcelly) for the workaround. We can see that the project for Asturian Language is declined for Jaunty. We're very desolated with this notice. Our team worked hard to get ready the translations for OOo in Jaunty release. Ubuntu it's the first O.S. in Asturian Language, and many municipalities of Asturies (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asturias ) are interested in the project, and in some sectors of the education system (schools) as well, and that is why it is very interesting for us to get ready the version of OpenOffice. We are also working on Edubuntu to have it complete, but the most important thing now is to OOo. Recently,a client notified us it would not search through these. Upon further inspection, we found that it takes for the PATH environment variable on WIndows OSes to be set to a full dir path to file uwinapi.dll which is provided with distribution of OO 3.0.1 . Just wanted to suggest You should modify your installation so that it adds this one into the path when installing on Win32 systems. It would also make our life a lot easier for deployment and support of future versions of our product. The source code includes a hack that removes the %Productname from the string %Productname Improvement Program. A look at the localisations reveals this to leads to lots of broken strings in localized versions, for example german has %Productname-Verbesserungsprogramm leading to the tabpage title -Verbesserungsprogramm. While removing the hyphen might still be fixable other languages use constructs that arent.
