But there is no way right now to achieve what I want to do. If I key the keyless entries they right fully so appear as sub-entries. If I only specify a key without an entry (which is kinda stupid) it is handled as if it is a keyless entry. I reject the notion that this is purely user error. The desired effect cannot be achieved with current functionality. I am still open to be shown otherwise. I did change the Summary entry to use the correct terminology. I open this one again, but begrudgingly classify it as a feature enhancement just so that it gets addressed eventually. In the current form the indexing is of limited use. I propose to have an additional option added that combines identical keys and entries to one entry. Any entries keyed with a key identical to the entry will be listed as sub-entries under that key. Example: Entry "Fruit" is on pages 2 and 3. Entry "Apple" with key "Fruit" is on page 4. Entry "Orange" with key "Fruit" is on page 5. I am at a loss to understand why so many contributors propose workarounds and other options rather than a full on commitment to make OOo more than just a MS Word lookalike. For several years, I've tried to use MS Word (and OOo), but the limitation of not having RC is prohibitive--I have to create documents in WP then save them to MS Word format to be compatible with my colleagues--I find this still preferable to using OOo or MS Word directly, even with the compatibility issues. My husband is a professor who has to use MS Word due to department regs, but inevitably, I have to convert his documents with WP, fix the accumulated formatting errors (very easy with RC and the "Match Codes" and "Find and Replace" features), then convert back to MS Word. I was so hoping that after finally being able to read WP documents, OOo Writer would have the RC feature and we could dispense with both MS Word and WP. I cannot judge this. But if OOo has a disk space problem somewhere (not only on the drive where the document sits, there it seems to work fine), I as a user would like and suggest it to - only delete the formerly saved "auto recovery information" data AND the formerly saved data file AFTER being sure that the last save action has succeeded. (In my case OOo deleted both these formerly saved data sets beforehand!) - issue a proper warning message if it runs into problems, something like "no disk space left on C, please give me some" - after the user has freed up tons of disk space on C, I would like OOo to honestly go for a second try to save my data. (In my original case it would neither "save" nor "save as" the file ever again.) As a remark: The OOo "export as PDF" function was still properly working and succeeding at the point of time when neither the "save" nor the "save as" functions would do. Diving deeper shows that the problem is caused by the Mac's selection colors; e.g. the light blue which is standard, has a luminosity of 218 (!) of 255 possible. When blending this color with transparence, it cannot look good. Since the same may happen when on other systems the user chooses a very light selection/hilight color, i decided to add an upper bound to the luminosity of the selection color. I experimented a bit, and 180 (70%) is a good value. When the system selection color is above this max, it will be scaled down to this max (darkened). This looks good and i added the needed code. I also added (just in case) that value as percent value (70%) to the configuration. AW->WG: Sorry, but needs to b e re-tested. I updated all install-sets. The difference is the seleciton on the mac. The brightness of the light blue will be limited.
