It turned out that due to copypaste as well as inexport to xls, there were two different entries with the same name each: one as a database range and one as a named range. The user expected the database range to be used in the formula and didn't even know the feature named range, but as even deleting and recreating a database range did not help, he supposed openoffice to be broken. That's why I'd like OpenOffice to complain if there are ambiguous entries in a formula. Alternatively it could complain if there are a named range and a database range with the same name and prevent their creation. I created the TOC to contain hyperlinks, which later on should be exported to a pdf. Pager numbering is changed so that the TOC and the first pages are numbered with i, ii, ... and then the content (re)starts numbering with 1,2,3,... . I first noticed that the hyperlinks don't work in the PDF file. I then checked that they also do not work in OpenOffice. I also tried to remove a dialog, but this failed (the dialog did not disappear). After trying to remove the dialog, I edited some macro code in the same file, tested it, clicked on the save-Button and everything was as-usual. But when reopening the form document, the dialog was still there but my changed to the macro weren't. After I manually removed the dialog from dialog-lb.xml, everything went fine. A defect script-lb.xml file looks like this: (after trying to remove a module called AskRecordDelete) ?xml version=1.0 encoding=UTF-8? !DOCTYPE library:library PUBLIC -//OpenOffice.org//DTD OfficeDocument 1.0//EN library.dtd library:library xmlns:library=http://openoffice.org/2000/library; library:name=Standard library:readonly=false library:passwordprotected=false library:element library:name=Tabellensynchronisation/ library:element library:name=FindSimilarRecord/ library:element library:name=Listen/ library:element library:name=Datenbankaktionen/ library:element library:name=Datenbankdokument/ /library:librarylibrary:name=AskRecordDelete/ /library:library Well, I probably should mention that I got this script-lb.xml file after OOo crashed on my machine with that the database document open - some short time after trying to delete the module AskRecordDelete. But sadly OOo Base crashing isn't that rare to me, so I cannot say wether there way any reasonable connection between these things. And this does not always happen when creating and then deleting the module. Just some conditions I didn't figure out.
