Using A5 in teh DAY function results in the correct date, but using a numeric value adds two months instead of one. The date in MS Excel appears to be correct based on the help in OOo stating that 0 would be the 31 since the start date is December 30, 1899. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. I have tried it on Windows XP Professional with 1.1.4 and 2.0Beta RC and it worked as would have been expected from your steps. 2) I then opened the document on Windows 2000 with 1.9.79 only and it worked. I am changing the status to WORKSFORME, but I will try a clean install on 2000 with the Beta version and try the document again. I am also planning to try it on SuSE 9.1. If you can upload a simple document that duplicates this behavior, I can try again. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. [sc-issues] [Issue 43758] Wrong order in calculating formulas

The formula =-A1^2+200*A1 is equal to -1^2+200*1. A negative number times a negative number is positive, resulting in 1. You may be intending the result to reflect the following, =-(A1^2)+200*A1 which does result in 199. This is acting exactly as MS Excel does with this formula. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. [sc-issues] [Issue 42955] Font size change in cell doesn't take effect under certain conditions
To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=42955 --- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Feb 16 23:26:23 -0800 2005 --- I can duplicate the problem with the text in the document, but not with new text. I got the following results with the text from the document. My configuration is also: Windows XP Pro SP2, hotfixes to 2/05 Java JRE_1.4.2_06 Build 680m77 1) Copying and pasting the cell to a different cell, the display font would not change. 2) Highlighting all the text within the cell and copying to a new cell results in the text pasting into three rows from the point of pasting. The font will change size for any of these cells. 3) Highlighting all the text within the cell and copying into a new cell with the cell in edit mode results in the text pasting into one row. The font will not change size. I would have to conclude that the problem is a result of the formating of the original text. Was this text pasted from another application? If so, what application? If not, what were the steps used to enter the text into three paragraphs within the cell? - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
