I thought OOo was so slow due the size of the document, but now I found out, that Writer is only slow, if I enable the Navigator window. I had this window always docked to the main window before. I worked with my normal user account (German Windows account type "Hauptbenutzer"), with write access to the whole file system. After several minutes of download the attached dialog appeared and told me, that I have not the sufficient rights to update OOo-dev. For me, this is a very bad user expirience. Because I had to wait several minutes for the download, and then the installation failed. I suggest to change the behaviour in one the following way: -Show the download button only to users who have the sufficient rights. -If the users searchs for updates by 'Help->Search for Updates', they should be informed that they have not the sufficient rights. Hello,
if I want edit a .wmf file with draw it's always neccessary to do two steps:
1.) Open the file
2.) Break up ('Aufbrechen' in german) the drawing, to make it editable
In my opinion the second step should always be executed at opening a .wmf file.
For editing (the main purpose of draw) it's always neccessary. If anybody uses
Draw as image viewer only, it's would have no influence because the graphic
looks identical after 'Aufbrechen'.

Yesterday I installed additionally OpenOffice.org 1.9.122. Both installations worked so far. But today I tried to open a .csv file with OpenOfice.org 1.9.122 from inside the windows file explorer. I opened the context menu of the file and selected "Open With" and selected OpenOffice 1.9.122 in the applications list. At first I noticed that OOo 1.9.122 use the StarOffice7 Star-Icon instead of the OOo gulls (I will attach an screenshot of this dialog). After selecting this entry and clicking on the OK-Button, StarOffice7 opened instead OOo 1.9.122. The list no longer contains a StarOffice7 entry. I created a new database and a new form. After that I opened the new form as read only, because I tried to enter some example records. This worked so far, but the user interface confused me. I got, as expected, into the read only mode, but the toolbars "Form Controls" and "Form Design" appeared there. All icons of both toolbars are disabled in the read only mode (even the Button "Open in Design Mode"), which made these toolbars completely useless. =>I will attach a screenshot! I would like to suggest, to hide any toolbar in OOo, if all visible buttons of this toolbar are disabled.
