The OLE object does not change size, and that is correct. What is wrong is that
the zoom as you called it changes. It would be better to keep the same zoom
and size. Yes I know this means that the contents withing the OLE object will
change, but it should because the user changed the format of the original
spreadsheet by inserting a new row or column.

To summarize, the Linked OLE object should, despite changes to the original
file, keep the same zoom and the same size (and referring to bug report 104848
since they are related: it should also keep the same scrolled-to x and y
locations and remain on the same sheet).

When you have a linked spreadsheet imported into a draw or writer document as an
OLE object, and then modify the spreadsheet from calc by inserting a column, and
then saving and opening the writer or draw program and click yes to update the
ole linked object, the formatting on the item is baddly messed up. This has been
an issue since 2.4.x.

Steps to duplicate problem:
1) Create spreadsheet and save with several pages of sample data. Close
spreadsheet.
2) Open draw and goto Insert-Object-OLE Object.
3) Click the create from file radio button and check Linked.
4) Browse to the spreadsheet created in #1
5) Save the draw file and Close.
6) Open calc. Open the spreadsheet from #1 and insert a column in the middle of
the data.
7) Save the spreadsheet and close.
8) Open the draw file and click Yes to update the linked objects.
9) The OLE attached Spreasheet in the draw file now has it's formatting all
screwed up.

If I import a spreadsheet as an OLE object, linked, into a Draw or Writer file,
and scroll down in the object then click off, it does not always stay scrolled
to the same location. This is especially noticeable when you have the
spreadsheet imported multiple times so that I can display different data from
the same sheet, and make changes to the spreadsheet.

I have been unable to determine the exact circumstances that cause it to change
the scrolled location, but often it scrolls back to the top of the spreadsheet.

Furthermore, If I have multiple sheets in the spreadsheet, and attempt to have
one ole object on one sheet, and another ole object on another sheet, the
scrolling issue remains, as well as formatting issues. The table zoom
(stretching might be more correct) often gets horribly messed up between the
multiple ole objects. This is true of other cases as well, but it is especially
apparent when working with multiple sheets with multiple OLE linked objects
(linked to the same file), to the point that OLE is unusable.

NOTE: I have not tried to see if the problems remain if linking to different
files. I have only needed to link to different sheets withing the same file, so
you should likely test that as well.

I forgot to mention that the OLE objects will also change which sheet they are
set to display all by themselves in the scenarios described by my original post.
