Program has changed. I am now using Corel WPO X3. The original issue resulted from windows version having to operate with an antivirus/anti-malware system running at the same time. Rea-time protection interpreted the changedir command as a hostile action and stopped the function. With the directories stored in the windows registry ( as well as many other preferences) the script would not necessarily be needed save for registration of user. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. A case of damned if you do - and damned if you dont (have malware protection that is!!) Reserved "fixed mark" for later. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. Afterwards, when I open or save a Document, I must manually go to the folder/directory set in the 'Paths' section of the preferences. It is as if these settings are not stored at all. Windows Vista Home Premium - All Applicable updates. These are not in the Registry. Perhaps in config file. Not being read properly If there. .NET 3.5 installed with SP1 of .NET. .NET 2.0 is supposed to be included in .NET 3.5SP1. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. Looked in logs, pointed to "problem reports". Problem reports showed compatibility issues with instmsiw, and setup. The application do not pop any flags, only the installer. The above installer modules need to be brought into compatibility. Reg editor is version 6 for Vista series. Baseline installer in windows is upgraded to 4 (i believe). If the installer needs to be run in compatibility mode, please advise. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. The program is rerouted to the program files folder for save-open operations. I believe this could be a case where a tool called a "privilege elevator" is required Also look into storing the Paths sections in the registry data as DefaultSaveOpen and DefaultGraphicsLocation. Possibly more from that section of the prefs area could be imported in to the registry. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
