OO does not care about community requirements. LibreOffice is the way to go for community software. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. You said it, They were part, that means the community is no longer part of OO. And that is undeniable. Second. Sun and now Oracle have stopped a lot of fixes, who in their right mind would devote time to this just to have it blocked? And the systematic blocking of patches is also undeniable. Have you heard of go-oo? And this is not FUD (no fear for users of having some other better suite, no uncertainty in a community driven suite, there is uncertainty in this corporate only supported suite, and doubt, well, a little reading can counter that in this case), it may not be relevant to the issue, but is true. OO no longer has community support, only corporate support. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. Is that a bet? Oracle may be the new obstacle, but Sun prevented anything useful to be done in OO before that. And no the community does not have 8.5 years. Just because a project have that many years does not mean it get an automatic 8.5 year old community. Plus is much much less if we take the amount it took for part the community to give up on Sun and do go-oo, and even more for the rest of the community to give up on oracle and do LibreOffice. What is relevant for this bus is your defense of corporatate inactivity. Is relevant to know that there are other options out there, that have already incorporated fixes long rejected by OO. It is also relevant for this issue to know that what is left of the OO community (mostly people that does not know of LibreOffice yet) is fed up with the way the OO overlords ignore theirs users opinion. It is also relevant (although much less) that fixes long rejected by Sun and now oracle for other issues are being incorporated, but not here. A thus the possibility of someone finally committing to do this is much closer that ever was here. (because there won't be corporate overlords putting obstacles) Nothing wrong with corporate overlords, they have the right to do what they want with what they own, except being hypocrite and pretend they mean good to the community. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. It looks like requirements are clear. Is it because no developer has taken this issue? I bet some of those that have provided solutions as add ons (like the one from Paolo Mantovani) would not have a problem giving the code for inclusion on OO.org Or am I wrong in this Paolo? Or are there really more requirements that the example solution don't cover? If we have the solution already the inclusion should be easy for a current OO.org developer that stops it? So, is it really a lack of requirement or the lack of a developer that takes this issue that - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
