The presenter screen now appears and works as in earlier 3.x versions of OOo. Thanks. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. I can still do presentations on the external screen, it's just as if the extension is not installed at all. No error messages. Nothing. To sum up, I think the problem is not with Vista or Windows 7, but with OO.o 3.2 compatibility. Take a look here too (just found this after typing above) http://qa.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=108605 - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. [framework-issues] [Issue 98952] Shift–Option–Right Arr ow (shift-alt-right) extends selection too far
To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=98952 --- Additional comments from ry...@openoffice.org Mon May 25 16:41:40 + 2009 --- This is an issue across platforms. I use Ooo on Ubuntu and the selection of text is the one feature that constantly drives me bonkers. I also remember it happening on Windows. It seems illogical that, when selecting the word at the end of a line, the selection should extend past the end of the line. This should be a subsequent selection step, or use the Shift-Down combination (which it already does!) This is not just seeking to mimic other commercial packages, but even the known behaviour of most major operating systems and programs like Firefox. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
