Has the mouse wheel issue been advanced by the beta OOo 3.2.1?

See http://development.openoffice.org/releases/OOO320m16_snapshot.html and
particularly discussion of a mouse wheel scroll addition to the API.

See also http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=99704 - which is
already referenced from the above page.

Version 1.0.3 Win32 is now up on the extension page and seems to fix the issue I
was having. The presenter screen now appears and works as in earlier 3.x
versions of OOo.

Thanks.

I am running Vista and can't get the Presenter Console to work on OO.o 3.2 RC5
while it worked fine on 3.0. I can still do presentations on the external
screen, it's just as if the extension is not installed at all. No error
messages. Nothing.

To sum up, I think the problem is not with Vista or Windows 7, but with OO.o 3.2
compatibility.

Take a look here too (just found this after typing above)

[framework-issues] [Issue 98952] Shift–Option–Right Arr ow (shift-alt-right) extends selection too far

This is an issue across platforms. I use Ooo on Ubuntu and the selection of text
is the one feature that constantly drives me bonkers. I also remember it
happening on Windows.

It seems illogical that, when selecting the word at the end of a line, the
selection should extend past the end of the line. This should be a subsequent
selection step, or use the Shift-Down combination (which it already does!)

This is not just seeking to mimic other commercial packages, but even the known
behaviour of most major operating systems and programs like Firefox.
