I'm having the same problem here, using both Linux (OOo 3.1) and Windows 7 (OOo
3.2). In fact, I try to erase the slide from the notes view and recreate it
double-clicking on the layout design, and it creates a little object in the left
border, near the top. Could it be a trimmed-down version of the slide?

I'm attaching an example document.

I tried the issue in another computer with different configuration and still
slow. In fact, the rectangle that says AutorizaciĆ³n tends to disappear.

Please tell me what other info do you need.

As part of my thesis presentation, I've made a slide with multiple elements
which move using the Move Diagonal Animation Effect. While presenting this slide
using OOo 2.4.1 the elements move fairly fast, in OOo 3 Beta they move slower
and jumpy.

I'm attaching the slide which I mentioned for evaluation.

It happens with at least two presentations I've been working on. I tested the
issue using an empty presentation and the tabs still don't work.

More facts:
- The presentations I've been working on have been edited using OOo 2.4. I use
OOo 3.0 when I present them, using the Sun Presenter Console extension (Could it
be the reason why tabs stop working?)
- My OOo 3.0 installation is fresh. I've only added the Sun Presenter Console
and PDF Import extensions.

In OOo 3.0 Beta 2 on Windows XP, Impress' editing tabs (Notmal, Outline, Notes,
Handout, Slide Sorter) stop working after exiting a slide show, and I can't
change editing modes until I close the current presentation or restart OOo.

Attached is a screenshot of what happens after a slide show.

While creating an ODT document with some references for a research project, I
found the following:

When I have two references and the first has an URL at the last item, this URL
gets concatenated with whatever is on the first item of the second reference
entry, producing an error when exporting to PDF.

OK. But can't you consider the possibility that somebody sent you one of these
HTML wrapped as XLS files and you need to open and edit it? Note the fact that
even the MS Excel VIEWER can't open it. In fact, I have another file, that I'm
attaching (2.xls) that is a properly formatted XML-embedded XLS file.

Consider this idea for a new feature: Everytime OOo opens an XLS file, it checks
its contents, and if it finds out that it is an HTML-embedded (like
stories_overview_2005-06-6.xls) or XML-embedded (like 2.xls) XLS file, it
displays a dialog box saying something like: It appears that this is a
Microsoft Excel XML file. Would you like to open it in Calc or in Writer? or
something like that, and give the user the possibility to choose how to treat
these kind of files? All for the sake of usability ;)
