[graphics-issues] [Issue 12719] Support for multiscreen di splays (dual monitors)
To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=12719 --- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Oct 26 07:47:44 -0700 2006 --- I tried to run this version -(2.1) on my mandriva 2006 box with a Matrox 400 card connected to two monitors and it does not work ok. But it could be something related to the Mandriva libraries - (see related previous bug report : 63925 http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=63925 ) which is a pity. I guess I will have to wait for Mandriva to come out with the newer version or try to compile from source and see if that works for me... - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. [framework-issues] [Issue 63925] dual head crashes

I presume it is related to the way Xinerama and OOo interoperate... I am changing the status for this issue to FIXED - upgrade to version provided by Mandriva... - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. Changing this does not make any difference. I also tried OOo 2.0.3 and the issue persists with this version as well. I am trying to upgrade X.org to 7.1 but will be a while before I can try this out again. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. However in presentation mode it shows the top title bar of the vncviewer screen. Putting the vncviewer in full screen mode does not solve it since in such case the window straddles both monitors. On the otherhand OO.o 2.0.2 is usable without having to restart the display in single monitor mode... I don't use this system for final presentation so it's fine apart from a bit of a reduction in speed. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. It works fine in single monitor mode on the same system. I am able to set options to enable or disable 3D OpenGL support in OO but opening any document/presentation etc causes a 'hang'... Same with importing/creating any document/presentation. Version 1.1.5 shipped with Mandriva 2006 worked relatively ok in dual head mode. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. [framework-issues] [Issue 63925] New - dual head crashes
To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=63925 Issue #:|63925 Summary:|dual head crashes Component:|framework Version:|OOo 2.0.2 Platform:|PC URL:| OS/Version:|Linux Status:|UNCONFIRMED Status whiteboard:| Keywords:| Resolution:| Issue type:|DEFECT Priority:|P1 Subcomponent:|ui Assigned to:|tm Reported by:|shashikirang --- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Apr 3 03:02:11 -0700 2006 --- I am finding that in dual head mode (Matrox G450 with Mandriva 2006) OOo 2.0.2 crashes the moment I try to open existing or create new documents/presentations. Without opening any documents/presentations I am able to change options etc but they (for example font antialiasing, 3D settings) don't make any difference to the behaviour. I also tried with X RENDER extension enabled and disabled. I use Xinerama to place the two monitors side-by-side. OOo 2.0.2 works fine in single screen mode on the same system. Please let me know if you need any other inputs (xorg.conf etc). - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. I have attached my xorg.conf file. The Xorg version is 6.9-1.cvs20050915 as shipped by Mandriva on 2006 DVD. The rpm for xorg-x11 can be found on http://rpmfind.net//linux/RPM/mandriva/2006.0/i586/media/main/xorg-x11-6.9-1.cvs20050915.2mdk.i586.html BTW, I think the bug is related to Xinerama. When I disable Xinerama I am able to use OOo but of course it is not one large screen but two independent displays (DISPLAYs 0.0 and 0.1) in that case. Sorry for overrating the priority - my first time with filing bugs.. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
