Component|Spreadsheet Version|OOO310m9 Platform|PC URL| OS/Version|Windows Vista Status|UNCONFIRMED Status whiteboard| Keywords| Resolution| Issue type|DEFECT Priority|P3 Subcomponent|editing Assigned to|spreadsheet Reported by|tomwb --- Additional comments from to...@openoffice.org Fri Jul 24 19:44:17 + 2009 --- I will attach a bugdoc to illustrate the following problem. This only applies to using autofill by the drag handle. Menu | Edit | Fill | Series (Linear) works ok. I have found four numbers, that if used to start an autofill series, will not autofill as desired. Example: first cell = .3, second cell = .31, third cell = .32 If I select the three cells then try to autofill with the drag handle, the next value created is 1.3, not 0.34, then 1.31, followed by 1.32. The first digit is incrementing, not the last. The other decimal values that do not work as expected are 0.4, 0.6, 0.7. Another quirk to this is that for 0.3 and 0.6, if I enter them as .30 or .60, the sequence in the autofill is correct. This does not work with 0.4 or 0.7. You will notice in my above example that I did not put in a leading zero when describing the number sequence. This was to show that I did not type a leading zero when entering them into a cell. (Adding a leading zero to the left of the decimal point had no effect.) The bugdoc hopefully shows this more clearly. I did a search of the Issue Tracker for Autofill and found a few issues, but that did not seem the same as this. Issues 5550, 25368, 88119, 92292 were the closest. I found the same behavior on OO 3.0.1(Ubuntu version) on Linux and OO 2.4.1 on Vista SP2. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. [sc-issues] [Issue 96712] Calc ShortCut CTRL+Space n ot work
To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=96712 --- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sat Nov 29 21:39:27 + 2008 --- Fernando: You can always assign 'Ctrl Space' to select an entire row (it is unused currently), by going to Tools|Customize|Keyboard. Currently the shortcut for selecting an entire column is 'Ctrl Shift Space', which matches up with 'Shift Space' for selecting an entire row. Calc needs a period (stop) added to the formula along with regualar expressions enabled. It appears that Calc does not translate the Excel syntax to Calc syntax. This was using OOO300m9 (Build:9358) and Dev300m35 (Build:9367) Calc versions. TomW - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. I recorded the macro verbatum. Saved the file, opened it in OOo 3.0 then saved it as an ods file. The macro runs correctly. Go figure! [sc-issues] [Issue 95744] Macro recording problems w ith arrow-keys in formula
To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=95744 --- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri Nov 7 01:42:05 + 2008 --- The recorded macro loses the reference to the formula target cell, placing the result in the position of the last cell movement by use of the arrow key. I tried several different macros that started the use of the arrow keys in different positions. It always places the formula in the last position selected by an arrow key. You need to define a print range for all sheets. Format|Print Ranges|[Define],[Add],,[Edit]. Also, this is a question that should first be asked on the OO Users mailing list, or forums. If it can not be resolved there, then a bug report should be filed using this Issues list. Sincerely, TomW - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
