I'm using the so-called openoffice-bin-2.0.3 package from Gentoo on a Gentoo
Linux x86 system. This package is not self-compiled, but using the official
binaries.
In Tools - Options - Load/Save - General, I enabled Always create backup
copy. I now opened an existing file (doesn't matter if it's a text document,
spreadsheet or what not). When I now try to save this file, I get an error
message:
Could not create backup copy
