Note, I first detected the issue since the very first GA Build of 3.0.0 Sorry, can't describe flickering any better than continuous flickering of the formula bar, like it's being constantly being redrawn. If I close the formula bar, flickering can still be detected in the toolbars (although it seems at a much faster rate, hence the toolbar image looks more stable). Currently, flickering is activated during file opening and recalculation, BUT does not stop after recalculation is done and the worksheet is ready to accept input. Flickering remains continuous. This also happens on a newly created spreadsheet, with the following procedure: a) Start-up OpenOffice b) Create blank new spreadhseet - formula bar does NOT flicker c) Enter text in 6 rows, one cell below the other - formula bar does NOT flicker d) Select the 6 cells then copy to clipboard e) Paste copied cells below last filled cell - Flickering is started - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. If I unload windowblinds, all problems disappear. However, OpenOffice is to date the single application showing incompatibility with windowblinds. The solution then for co-existence of the apps is to create an exception in windowblinds to not perform skinning of OpenOffice applications. The default setting from the installation was ON.
