Anyway it's just a testing issue as we use kill -SEGV to test crash reporting. In real life crashes are always synchronous signals and there the problem does not appear. Furthermore there's a workaround for testing: On a zone enabled machine use the root zone. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. But I'm using Win98SE. Since a 5 builds, every time that Crash Report comes, there's no data to send. Hope this issue could resolve my bug too. It describes a problem related to signal handling on Solaris 10 X86 only. If the application crashes on Solaris 10 then a crash report is generated but it isn't generated if the application gets a signal 11 (SEGV) from the kill command. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. Just the kill command or a manually raised signal doesn't trigger the signal handler. Maybe it's related to the network configuration...I'll have to investigate... I'm not sure if it's a good idea to retarget this issue. In my opinion Hennes should debug into this as soon as possible. Things we can exclude: /var/tmp is writable /tmp is writable the system has a hostname the system has a domainname $HOME is writable the system has 1 GB ram the sytem has 1 GB swap When I installed Solaris 10 3/05 (DVD) on my notebook then I selected everything. I selected all available locales to be installed. Default locale is en_US.UTF-8 - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. From my point of view we should get this fixed at least in OOo 2.01. Maybe it's just a misconfiguration of that zone but further investigation is necessary - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
