Please set target milestone to 3.x. Maybe people from the Renaissance project should be added into cc. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. We are talking user-friendly here. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. The first slide has the title and the text up to the point where I split. The second slide has the remainder of the text and the cursor is positioned so that I can type in the title for the second slide. Does this give you the functionality you want? If not, what is missing or different? - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. If OOo is not a MSO clone, we should have it. +1 - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. Even if you want to split the text at cursor location to two slides (i.e. add a new slide and put the text after the cursor there) that's not possible. You can only add a new empty slide. Comparing slides with paragraphs, I feel something should be there to split one paragraph into two. It seems Microsoft PowerPoint (version 2000) also cannot do that, but is this a reason for OOo not to try to implement that? - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
