To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=54259 User as changed the following: What|Old value |New value Assigned to|as|ihi --- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Oct 4 04:59:35 -0700 2005 --- I've found the problem: The filter Microsoft Word 2003 XML was translated (which btw. isnt relay necessary!) with Microsoft Excel 2003 XML .-) And this wrong translation exists for JA only. This conflicts with the feature of the FileOpen Dialog: no entry can exists twice. So an exception is thrown if the real Microsoft Excel 2003 XML will be tried to be added inside this dialog. BTW: The same problem occures on windows ... but there you have another dialog implementation. And this implementation doesnt drop all calc filters. This implementation drops only the last 3 filters. So you will get 18 of 21 possible calc filters listed. AS-IVO: Please correct the filter translation for the file filter/source/ config/fragments/filters/Microsoft_Word_2003_XML_ui.xcu only for the locale JA from Microsoft Excel 2003 XML to Microsoft Word 2003 XML. To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=54259 --- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Oct 3 22:32:06 -0700 2005 --- For me the problem exists inside the UI.xcu file of OOo. And further it seams to be a problem of the localized version of this file. a) All Calc filters exists and are useable. You can open calc documents without problems. b) All calc filters will be shown within the FileSave dialog and you can define a default filter inside Tools-Options-Load/Save General. The difference between FileOpen and FileSave dialog is the mentioned UI.xcu file. There is a special feature of the FileOpen dialog. Against the filters we show filter- groups e.g. StarCalc 3.0 - 5.0. And these groups are defined inside the UI.xcu file. Further the code is written in the way, that an exception will be catched and ignored ! Fallback handling cant be done then, because the fallback handling has to be done at the place where the exception was thrown ... As a result of that the complete calc section disappears. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
