Therefore, please reassign to requirements. I'll paraphrase this: Suppose an Index Entry is manually entered in a large document. I want to check out all these entries and delete some of them. This involves- 1. Search for an entry (preferably with a "find all" option) 2. Allow user to rapidly jump from one instance to the next; skipping all other index entries that come inbetween. 3. If required, user should be able to delete the entry and carry on to the next instance. Also, provide a facility to delete all instances of a specified index entry. I could not file "help file" anywhere; so I am raising this bug against "Writer UI". *** I have inserted a lot of Alphabetical index entries in my odt file. Now I realized that I have added some index entries wrongly. I want to remove them. However, I have entered the entry correctly at vast majority of the lo0cations, so I do not want to delete it globally. But the help file does not describe how to remove index entries selectively from certain locations, while leaving them untouched elsewhere. The help file gives the impression that you can delete a specified key only globally. If this is the case, then please redirect the bug to "editing" subcomponent. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
