Change "position" from "End of page" to "End of document". Everything good until now. * Tools - Footnotes: Counting in the dialog is set as "per page" although we did not change anything. Click OK, the change is not reflected. * Tools - Footnotes: set Counting "per Document", then OK, then Tools - Footnotes: Counting still set to "per page" but not implemented "per page". It turns more nasty when chapter headings are used. Then, notes at the end of the document are renumbered per chapter, and there is no way to change them to a numbering per document.
