Thus, spell checking is enabled by default, great. However this expected default behaviour does not happen if a new OpenOffice Writer document is created another way i.e. while inside Microsoft Windows Explorer we create a new Writer document by right clicking inside Explorers right hand 'folders and files' window. Doing this creates a document which does NOT AUTOMATICALLY select a DEFAULT LANGAUGE thus SPELL CHECKING is NOT ENABLED by DEFAULT. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
