Special objects such as empty fields or character-anchored frames at the end of a paragraph are ignored. Example: Peter$. However this does only seem to work if not combined with other regular expressions. I have tried your example, but added to some lines a TAB before the paragraph mark. Then I tried to find \t$ and replace it with \t : this does not take out the paragraph marks from the lines with a TAB. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. However there still rests one problem : there seems to be no regular expression for a paragraph mark. Thus, in the moment I cannot replace a paragraph mark with something else. I did the following : using MOZILLA Composer I created a simple 2x2 table in a HTML file. I opened the file in the browser, highlited and copied it. Then I created a new OOo Writer Text file, and tried pasting : in paste special three options are offerend : pasting as a HTML table or as unformatted text. If a HTMl table is not wanted, then normally pasting unformatted text should do the trick, using Text-to-Table conversion. Unfortunately the HTML table is pasted in a way that columns within the table are separated by a paragraph mark AND a TAB. To use text-to-table conversion you would need to get rid of one of those. The simplest thing to do is to replace all paragraph marks followed by a TAB by TAB, and the conversion is possible. Doing this by hand in a 10 x 50 table is a dire task. See attached file for how the tabel is pasted. Oliver - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
