I think, I have the same problem in OOo2.3.1. If not, I'll open a new issue.

I have english words in my german text. Now I have changed the language from
this words to english and the word isn't underlined now, but in the
documentindex, the word is shown as wrong too.
I think, this is a bug, because it should only be a reference to the word in the
text and because of this, the spellchecker shouldn't check this text too. The
word should only be underlined, if the original is.
I don't know the code, but I think, the underlining could be taken as attribut
from the original word and be set, if the word is underlined from the
spellchecker, but the spellchecker itself shouldn't look at the dictionary 
itself.

Hope you understand ma case. I have given an attachment to show the bug.
