2008 ---
1) Open the example document ortho.odt (attached to the issue).
2) Enable the option Tools - Options... - Language Settings - Writing Aids
- Options - Check words with numbers - OK.
3) Start to Spellcheck the document (by pressing F7, for example).
4) Press the Ignore Once button until the spellchecking ends. It will catch
the following errors: http, www.ieee802., rg, file1., and df.
Notice that even though you told it to ignore all the errors, it changed two
of them: rg to org and df to pdf. More explicitly, the text that was:

changed to
http://www.ieee802.oorg/
file1.ppdf
